Plan of Assistance for Improvement. The results of any performance observation and/or evaluation shall be in writing with a copy to the member. Where significant deficiencies are identified by administration based upon The Professional Growth & Evaluation Handbook, noted in writing, and shared with the member, a member may be placed on a Plan of Assistance for Improvement as defined in ORS 342.815(7). It is understood that a Plan of Assistance for Improvement may be commenced at any time. There is no requirement that a Plan of Assistance for Improvement can only be initiated at the conclusion of an evaluation cycle.
Plan of Assistance for Improvement. A. If the District does not extend a contract status teacher’s contract by March 15 of the first year of the contract, the District may place the teacher on a Plan of Assistance for Improvement.
