Planned or Unplanned Absence. In case of on an official leave of absence or travelling outside of the country RCIC resides or works (i.e. Iran or Canada) for a period of more than thirty (30) consecutive days, during which RCIC does not intend to discharge the usual duties of his consulting practice, RCIC will designate one or more Authorized Representative(s) who will assume the responsibility of the practice while RCIC is on leave or travelling. The information of the Authorized Representative(s) will be clearly communicated to Client(s) prior to such absence. RCIC has designated and has communicated with ICCRC the contact information (including the name, primary and secondary address, telephone number and e-mail address) of the Authorized Representative and/or Responsible Person in case of on an unplanned absence during which RCIC intends to discharge or is forced to discharge from the usual duties of his consulting practice, (i.e: death, accident,..). The Authorized Representative or Responsible Person would allow for the maintenance of the RCIC consulting practice. Note: In the event the Client(s) is unable to contact the Member and has reason to believe the Member may be dead, incapacitated or otherwise unable to fulfill his/her duties the Client should contact ICCRC via contact information mentioned in section 7 of this Agreement.

  • Excused Absences Absences will be excused only under the following circumstances.

  • Extended Absences In the event Tenant will be away from the Premises for more than 7 consecutive days, Tenant agrees to notify Landlord in writing of such absence. During such absence, Landlord may enter the premises at times reasonable necessary to maintain the property and inspect for damages and needed repairs.

  • Excused Absence No later than the 8th consecutive day of a pupil’s absence, CONTRACTOR shall notify LEA of such absence. If CONTRACTOR fails to provide such notice by the 8th day of consecutive absence, CONTRACTOR shall not be compensated for services delivered during continuing absence after the 8th consecutive day of absence. The LEA shall not be responsible for payment for more than eight (8) cumulative days of excused absences in one semester unless a written time extension is granted by XXX. XXX shall not be responsible for payment for days of unexcused absences. All excused absences must be verified and a copy must be submitted to LEA with the monthly invoice. All documentation must be kept for at least five (5) years from the date of origination. Only the individuals listed below may verify the reason for absence:

  • Unrequested Leave of Absence Section 1. Purpose: The purpose of this Article is to implement the provisions of Minn. Stat. § 122A.40, Subd. 10, which Article, when adopted, shall constitute a plan for unrequested leave because of discontinuance of position, lack of pupils, financial limitations or merger of classes caused by consolidation of districts.

  • Unexcused Absences Employees who are absent without approved leave (with the exception of emergencies) may be subject to discipline, up to and including discharge from employment.

  • Other Absences An employee who is absent from work for any reason, other than those reasons listed above, will not be entitled either to have his/her vacation scheduled or to receive a vacation allowance during the period of such absence.

  • Leave of Absence for Union Business (a) The Employer shall grant leaves of absence to employees to attend Union Conventions, negotiations of the Collective Agreement with the Employer and other Union business. The Union agrees that such leave will not unduly affect the proper operations or be detrimental to the proficient operations of the Employer.

  • Reporting Absences (a) Employees are responsible to report to work on time on each scheduled work day.

  • LEAVE OF ABSENCE - UNION BUSINESS 11.08.01 Employees who have been elected or appointed to carry out business authorized by the Union on a full-time basis shall be granted a Leave of Absence for this purpose. The Union will advise the Company of the name(s) of such employee(s), the term of such leave, and the specific purpose. The Union shall repay the Company for the Company's costs incurred in Employee Benefit Plans and the employee(s) shall continue to pay their contributions directly to the Company. The Company shall provide such employees with free and reduced-rate transportation in accordance with Company regulations. Such employees shall continue to accrue seniority and service while on leave of absence.

  • Notification of Absence To be entitled to payment in accordance with this clause the employee shall meet the following criteria;
