Pre-scheduled Voluntary Overtime. After the initial scheduled bid is incorporated 15 and posted, the Employer may offer pre-scheduled voluntary overtime shifts to 16 nurses, including intermittent and nonpermanent employees. 18 The shifts shall be compensated at the rate of time and one-half (1 ½ X) the 19 regular rate of pay plus an additional two (2) hours of extra pay for the shift. The 20 extra pay shall be compensated at the regular rate of pay. If the shift is cancelled 21 at least one (1) hour prior to the start of the shift, the premium will not be paid.

The shifts shall be compensated at the rate of time and one-half (1 ½ X) the regular rate of pay plus an additional two (2) hours of extra pay for the shift. The extra pay shall be compensated at the regular rate of pay. If the shift is cancelled at least one (1) hour prior to the start of the shift, the premium will not be paid. The nurse shall receive the premium pay (time and one-half (1 ½ X) the nurse's regular rate) for a minimum work period of three (3) hours. This pay is in addition to all compensation contained in the CBA except this compensation cannot be bundled with call back. After the initial scheduled bid is incorporated and posted, the Employer may also offer extra shifts at straight time (up to 1.0s FTE).

  • Scheduled Overtime Scheduled overtime is overtime which is assigned by the end of the employee's last worked shift prior to the overtime assignment and which does not immediately precede or immediately follow a scheduled work shift. Unless notified otherwise in advance of the scheduled starting time of the scheduled overtime assignment, any employee who is scheduled to report for work and who reports as scheduled shall be assigned at least two (2) hours work. If work is not available, the employee may be excused from duty and paid for two (2) hours at the employee's appropriate rate. If the employee begins work but is excused from duty before completing two (2) hours of work, the employee shall be paid for two (2) hours at the employee's appropriate rate.

  • Vacation Earnings for Partial Years (1) During the first partial year of service a new employee will earn vacation at the rate of three and two-thirds (32/3) days for each month for which the employee earns ten (10) days pay. (2) Subject to Clause 17.8, any unused vacation earned during the first (1st) partial year will be paid to the employee at December 31st of that year. (b) During the first (1st) and subsequent vacation years an employee will earn one-twelfth (1/12) of the annual entitlement for each month in which the employee has received at least ten (10) days' pay at straight-time rates. Where an employee has taken more vacation than earned, the unearned portion taken shall be charged against future earned credits or recovered upon termination whichever occurs first.

  • Shift Differential Pay SECTION 1: In addition to compensation provided by the wage schedule, employees working between the hours of 3:00 P.M. and 7:00 A.M. shall be paid a shift differential premium of $.45 (forty-five cents) per hour in addition to the regular pay for those hours. SECTION 2: Employees must work a minimum of 3 (three) hours in order for shift differential to apply.

  • Rent Payments Xxxxxx agrees to pay rent to the Landlord during the term of this Lease in equal monthly installments of $975, which shall be paid on or before the first day of the month. If there are multiple Tenants signed to this Lease, all such Tenants are jointly, severally and individually bound by, and liable under, the terms and conditions of this Lease. A judgment entered against one Tenant shall be no bar to an action against other Tenants.

  • Shift Premium Full-Time and Part-Time Employees shall be paid a shift premium of one dollar ($1.00) per hour for all hours worked where the majority of their scheduled hours fall between 1500 and 0700 hours.

  • Annual Base Rent Commencing on the Rent Commencement Date, and thereafter during the Term, Tenant shall pay annual base rent in the amounts set forth immediately below (the "Annual Base Rent"), which amounts shall be payable in equal monthly installments (the "Monthly Base Rent") as set forth immediately below: All installments of Monthly Base Rent shall be payable in advance, on the Rent Commencement Date and the first day of each calendar month thereafter during the Term. If the Rent Commencement Date shall be a day other than the first day of a calendar month, (1) the Annual Base Rent for the first Lease Year shall be an amount equal to the sum of (x) the amount of Monthly Base Rent for the partial month in which the Rent Commencement Date occurs, plus (y) the amount of the Annual Base Rent for the first Lease Year set forth in the rent chart above, and (2) Monthly Base Rent for such partial month shall be the prorated amount of the Monthly Base Rent payable hereunder during the first Lease Year, which proration shall be based upon the actual number of days of such partial month. The prorated Monthly Base Rent for such partial month shall be payable on the first day of the calendar month after the month in which the Rent Commencement Date occurs. As used in this Lease, the term "Lease Year" means (A) with respect to the first Lease Year, the twelve (12) full calendar month period commencing on the Rent Commencement Date (plus the number of days in any partial first month if the Rent Commencement Date is not the first day of the month), except that if the Rent Commencement Date is a date earlier than May 1, 2012, then the first Lease Year shall commence on the Rent Commencement Date and shall expire on April 30, 2013, and (B) with respect to the second Lease Year and each subsequent Lease Year thereafter, each successive period of twelve (12) full calendar months following the expiration of the first Lease Year.

  • Retroactive Pay All employees shall receive full retroactive pay to May 21, 2021 for all hours worked and/or paid. Retroactive pay shall be paid to all employees within thirty (30) calendar days following the date of Union ratification of this Agreement. Retroactive pay will be issued to each employee in the bargaining unit on paycheques that are separate and apart from the employee's normal earnings.
