Throughout the term of this Agreement, Grantee shall fully comply with all equal employment or nondiscrimination provisions and requirements of federal, state and local law and, in particular, FCC rules and regulations relating thereto.

In connection with the performance of work under this Franchise, the Grantee agrees not to refuse to hire, discharge, promote or demote, or discriminate in matters of compensation against any Person otherwise qualified, solely because of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, age, military status, sexual orientation, marital status, or physical or mental disability; and the Grantee further agrees to insert the foregoing provision in all subcontracts hereunder. This Section does not prohibit Franchisee from denying service based on location of residence, if that residence is located outside the parameters for line extension as detailed herein. E. This Section does not prohibit Franchisee from denying service to a Subscriber who is more than thirty (30) days delinquent in the payment of any service bill. F. This Section does not prohibit Franchisee from implementing a no-frills service tier for “lower income” and/or fixed income individuals. G. This Section does not prohibit Franchisee from making agreements or entering into service agreements with multiple dwelling unit owners or commercial establishments (including hotel, motel, apartments, fraternities, sororities, and mobile home park owners) to provide service under a bulk billing or other type of arrangement. H. Franchisee will comply with all Federal and State laws regarding special service requirements on handicapped subscribers.

A firm or individual placed on the Suspended Vendor List pursuant to section 287.1351, F.S., the Convicted Vendor List pursuant to section 287.133, F.S., the Antitrust Violator Vendor List pursuant to section 287.137, F.S., or the Discriminatory Vendor List pursuant to section 287.134, F.S., is immediately disqualified from Contract eligibility.
