Pregnancy Care. Treatment or services related to all care prior to delivery, delivery, post-delivery care, and any complications arising from pregnancy. Prescription Drugs – Medications, which includes Specialty Drugs, the sale or dispensing of which legally requires the order of a Physician or other health care professional and that carry the federally required product legend stipulating that such drugs may not be dispensed without a prescription, and which are currently approved by the FDA for safety and effectiveness, subject to the Limitations and Exclusions Article.

Pregnancy Care. 1. Surgical and Medical Services a. Office visits during the term of the pregnancy.
Pregnancy Care. Treatment or services related to all care prior to delivery, delivery, post-delivery care and any complications arising from pregnancy. Ectopic pregnancy and miscarriage are not considered Pregnancy Care. Since Pregnancy Care is not covered, complications of pregnancy are not covered, except for ectopic pregnancies and spontaneous abortions (miscarriages). Benefits for ectopic pregnancies and spontaneous abortions (miscarriages) are available for all covered Members under the Hospital Benefit Article and the Medical and Surgical Benefits Article of this Contract the same as any other Covered Service. Prescription Drug Formulary - A list of specific Prescription Drugs that are covered under this insurance policy. Prescription Drugs – Medications, which includes Specialty Drugs, the sale or dispensing of which legally requires the order of a Physician or other health care professional and that carry the federally required product legend stipulating that such drugs may not be dispensed without a prescription, and which are currently approved by the FDA for safety and effectiveness, subject to the Limitations and Exclusions Article. Preventive or Wellness Care – Services designed to effectively prevent or screen for a disease for which there is an effective treatment when discovered in an early stage. Private Duty Nursing Services – Services of an actively practicing Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who is unrelated to the patient by blood, marriage or adoption. These services must be ordered by the attending Physician and require the technical skills of an RN or LPN. Prosthetic Appliance – Appliances which replace all or part of a body organ, or replace all or part of the function of a permanently inoperative, absent or malfunctioning body part. Provider - A Hospital, Allied Health Facility, Physician, or Allied Health Professional, licensed where required, performing within the scope of license, and approved by Us. If a Provider is not subject to state or federal licensure, We have the right to define all criteria under which a Provider’s services may be offered to Our Members in order for Benefits to apply to a Provider’s Claims. Claims submitted by Providers who fail to meet these criteria will be denied.
Pregnancy Care. Contractor shall provide on-site health care services for any pregnant inmate in accordance with Idaho Jail Standards. To the extent off-site health care services are required for any pregnant inmate, Contractor shall make appropriate arrangements for rendering such care, with the cost of such off-site services being paid by County.

  • Medical Care The Parents must comply with the School Welfare Officer's recommendations which may include a reasonable decision to release the Pupil home or to his / her education guardian when s/he is unwell.

  • Pregnancy Leave (a) Pregnancy leave will be granted in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Standards Act, except where amended in this provision. The service requirement for eligibility for pregnancy leave shall be thirteen (13) weeks of continuous service. (b) The employee shall give written notification at least two (2) weeks in advance of the date of commencement of such leave and the expected date of return. At such time she shall also furnish the Hospital with the certificate of a legally qualified medical practitioner stating the expected birth date. (c) The employee shall reconfirm her intention to return to work on the date originally approved in subsection (b) above by written notification received by the Hospital at least two (2) weeks in advance thereof. (d) Effective on confirmation by the Canada Employment Insurance Commission of the appropriateness of the Hospital's Supplementary Unemployment Benefit (SUB) Plan, an employee who is on pregnancy leave as provided under this Agreement who has applied for and is in receipt of Employment Insurance pregnancy benefits pursuant to Section 23 of the Employment Insurance Act, shall be paid a supplemental unemployment benefit for a period not exceeding fifteen (15) weeks. The supplement shall be equivalent to the difference between ninety-three percent (93%) of her normal weekly earnings and the sum of her weekly unemployment insurance benefits and any other earnings. Receipt by the Hospital of the employee's unemployment insurance cheque stubs shall constitute proof that she is in receipt of Employment Insurance pregnancy benefits. The employee's normal weekly earnings shall be determined by multiplying her regular hourly rate on her last day worked prior to the commencement of the leave times her normal weekly hours plus any wage increase or salary increment that she would be entitled to receive if she were not on pregnancy leave. In addition to the foregoing, the Hospital will pay the employee ninety-three percent (93%) of her normal weekly earnings during the first two (2) week period of the leave while waiting to receive Employment Insurance benefits. The employee does not have any vested right except to receive payments for the covered unemployment period. The plan provides that payment in respect of guaranteed annual remuneration or in respect of deferred remuneration or severance pay benefits are not reduced or increased by payments received under the plan. (e) Credits for service and seniority shall accumulate for a period of up to seventeen

  • Medical Care Leave An Employee who is unable to make the necessary arrangements for maintenance of personal health care outside of scheduled work time, shall be granted time off with pay. Such time off shall not exceed sixteen (16) working hours per calendar year. Hours in excess of sixteen (16) hours per calendar year shall be deducted from the Employee's sick leave accumulation.

  • Patient Care Resident shall participate in safe, effective, and compassionate patient care, under supervision, commensurate with Resident's level of advancement and responsibility.

  • Hospice Care If you have a terminal illness and you agree with your physician not to continue with a curative treatment program, this plan covers hospice care services received in your home, in a skilled nursing facility, or in an inpatient facility.

  • Pregnancy Leave Benefits Where superior provisions exist, as a result of the meshing of the 2012 MOU with any superior provisions that existed in the 2008-2012 collective agreements, they must be incorporated into the common central provisions in Article 11.2 of Part A of this agreement and the resulting article placed in Part B of this agreement.
