Pregnancy/Childbearing Disability Leave. 1. A Resident who is disabled from working because of pregnancy, childbirth or related medical conditions shall be granted upon request, a leave of absence for up to four (4) months during the period of disability for Pregnancy Disability Leave (PDL). PDL may also be used for prenatal care. For a Resident requesting PDL under state Pregnancy Disability Leave Law (PDLL), no tenure or hours eligibility requirements apply, such as minimum hours worked or length of service.
