Prep. Substitution and Classroom / Student Coverage: Subd. 1. The process of reporting prep substitution and classroom coverage as well as the rates of payment will be implemented by the Office Managers from each District site. Coverage shall be reported at the end of each pay period, and educators shall be compensated for this duty in the succeeding pay period following each report.
Prep. Adult Educators that teach scheduled classes which are publicly financed and state mandated (these include those offered in K-12 including ESL, Citizenship, high school completion, high school equivalency, college/career readiness) will have the following guidelines apply:

Most of our out of town competitions will require us to book rooms through a housing company. CCDU will reserve a block of rooms through the housing company and each cheerleader will have to stay in a room booked through the housing company. We will have to submit a listing of all our cheerleaders and where they are staying in order to verify they have booked through the housing company. This is a competition company requirement and we do not receive any financial gain from this process. All competition housing rules must be abided by to compete. Prep. There is no additional drop fee for an athlete leaving the Prep program mid-season. Any outstanding fees and the current month's installment, regardless of the athlete’s drop date, will be drafted from the account at the time we are notified of the athlete leaving. Team Additional Fees Team additional fees are those fees that pay for choreography, competition entry fees, music, coaches expenses, the end-of-season banquet, and more. Cheer St. Louis does not break down these fees for billing or any other purpose. Team additional fees are budgeted in March, prior to the season starting. If the team additional fees exceed the amount collected, customers are not billed the balance. This is in an effort to provide the best customer service and budget billing possible. In return, customers will not be credited team additional fees for things such as staffing at a competition, additional team training, resources, etc. In the event a traditional competition schedule is not able to be carried out, Cheer St. Louis may adjust fees, rules, and policies accordingly. Cheer St. Louis will make every effort to provide the best experience for its athletes to train and experience the sport of competitive cheerleading. This includes but is not limited to virtual events, adjusting competition schedules when necessary, and other creative nontraditional experiences. In the event competitions are cancelled by the event producer, the registration fees are credited to Cheer St. Louis and adjustments will be made. These funds may be transferred to another event, credited to customer accounts, or refunded. The handling of these fees will be determined based on the team needs, time of the season, event producer policies, and current health recommendations. In the event, cheerleading competitions are not being held at all and Cheer St. Louis is unable to register for events, customer accounts will be credited or refunded. Each individual situation will be handled with the safety of our athletes being the first priority. Each situation will be worked through based on the facts and information we have. Prep. Time Each elementary teacher shall have an equal amount of time as secondary teachers for purposes of preparation of materials for classroom presentation. This time shall be spent in an assigned room in the building except as administrative permission allows otherwise. Every attempt shall be made to give teachers planning time in blocks of 30 minutes or more. (The exception to 30 minute block time would be for those teachers assigned to teach specials, i.e.., Music, art and physical education.)
Prep time for middle school teachers shall be used to perform duties related to their teaching position (i.e. team planning, lesson planning, grading; communications or any school related functions).
