Prescheduled Vacation Picks. Vacation picks shall be conducted by seniority. Any vacation used prior to April 1st shall not be considered a pick. Vacation picks shall begin January 1st and shall be completed and posted by March 1st of each year. Vacation scheduling is limited to a minimum of one (1) hours and a maximum of one hundred sixty eight (168) hours and must run consecutively or be combined consecutively with compensatory days. Once informed of his right to “pick” the employee will have until the shift’s following workday to provide his pick to the shift commander. If no pick is provided within that time frame it will be considered a pass, and the process will continue.

  • Banked Vacation Once every five years an employee may bank one full year's vacation to be taken in conjunction with the next year's vacation. For the purposes of this clause, all vacation in the second year must be taken concurrently.

  • Vacation Periods Vacation schedules will be set by the employee’s immediate supervisor(s) and sent to the Office of Human Resources for approval. Those employees who are on a 12-month teacher contract are paid during Spring Break and Winter Recess, however, are not expected to be in attendance or perform duties during those breaks.

  • Annual Vacation Pay Vacation pay shall be paid at the regular hourly rate of the Nurse in effect immediately prior to the Nurse taking vacation.
