Common use of Previous Experience Clause in Contracts

Previous Experience. New and current employees who are employed for a regular position shall receive the following salary recognition for relevant nursing experience as determined by the Employer, provided not more than two (2) years have elapsed since such experience was obtained: one (1) annual increment for every one (1) year experience. Any time spent in an education program mutually acceptable to the Employer and the Union will not be counted as experience but will not constitute a break in service.
