Standard of Workmanship Sample Clauses

Standard of Workmanship. 1) The Workmanship shall be of the kind and quality described, defined or shown in the Contract Documents and where the Workmanship is not described, defined or shown it shall be of the highest standard used in the locality wherein the Site is situated.
Standard of Workmanship. CONSULTANT represents and maintains that it is skilled in the professional calling necessary to perform the services and its duties and obligations, expressed and implied, contained herein, and CITY expressly relies upon CONSULTANT's representations regarding its skills and knowledge. CONSULTANT shall perform such services and duties in conformance to and consistent with the standards generally recognized as being employed by professionals in the same discipline in the State of California. The plans, designs, specifications, estimates, calculations reports and other documents furnished under the Scope of Work (Exhibit "A”) shall be of a quality acceptable to CITY. The criteria for acceptance of the work provided under this Agreement shall be a product of neat appearance, well-organized, technically and grammatically correct, checked and having the maker and checker identified. The minimum standard of appearance, organization and content of the drawings shall be that used by CITY for similar projects.
Standard of Workmanship. The attention of Service Providers is particularly drawn to the high standard of workmanship applicable to this Contract.
Standard of Workmanship. A. Owner and Contractor agree that the quality of workmanship and finish shall be of superior quality, acceptable to Owner and shall be in full compliance with all federal, state and municipal governmental requirements and the Contract Documents. B. The Work shall be in accordance with trade and industry standards, unless otherwise indicated in the Contract Documents. In the event of any conflict between trade standards and the Contract Documents, Contractor shall immediately bring such conflict to the attention of Owner and Engineer. C. All workmanship performed by or through Contractor shall be performed by experienced laborers, operators or mechanics skilled in the applicable trade. D. All materials shall be new and as called for in the Drawings and Specifications, and as required by all applicable codes and regulatory and governmental authority. E. Engineer and Owner have the authority to reject Work that does not conform to the Contract Documents. Whenever Engineer or Owner considers it necessary or advisable, Engineer will have authority to require inspection or testing of the Work in accordance, whether or not such Work is fabricated, installed or completed. However, neither this authority of Engineer or Owner nor a decision made in good faith either to exercise or not to exercise such authority shall give rise to a duty or responsibility of Engineer or Owner to Contractor, subcontractors, material and equipment suppliers, their agents or employees, or other persons or entities performing portions of the Work. F. Contractor shall promptly correct Work rejected by Engineer or Owner or failing to conform to the requirements of the Contract Documents, whether or not fabricated, installed or completed. Costs of correcting such rejected or non-conforming Work, including additional testing and inspections, the cost of uncovering and replacement, and compensation for Engineer’s services and expenses made necessary thereby, shall be at Contractor’s expense.

Standard of Workmanship. Consultant represents and warrants that it has the qualifications, skills and licenses necessary to perform the Services, and its duties and obligations, expressed and implied, contained herein, and Client expressly relies upon Consultant's representations and warranties regarding its skills, qualifications and licenses. Consultant shall perform such Services and duties in conformance to and consistent with the standards generally recognized as being employed by professionals in the same discipline as Consultant. Any plans, designs, specifications, estimates, calculations, reports and other documents furnished under this Agreement shall be of a quality reasonably acceptable to Client. The minimum standard of appearance, organization and content of the drawings shall be that used by Client for similar purposes.

Standard of WorkmanshipReplace the first sentence of the second paragraph with the following: The plans, designs, specifications, estimates, calculations reports, and other documents furnished under the Scope of Work (Exhibit “A” and “A-1”) shall be of a quality acceptable to CITY.
Standard of Workmanship. To determine the acceptable standard of workmanship and layout of fittings wiring etc GE shall order the contractor to execute certain typical portion of work (different trades) and services sufficiently in advance of other work in one portion of the building. These shall be executed and completed under the close supervision of the Engineer-in-Charge and shall be got approved from GE. On the approval by the GE of such items, these items shall be signed and/or suitably identified by the GE and labelled as guiding samples. The record of such inspection and passing of each stage of these samples shall be recorded by GE under his dated signatures. Works on each sample/portion of the building shall be progressed well ahead (minimum two stages ahead) of other portions of building. Approved finishes/workmanship shall be followed in the work as a whole.
