Job Posting Process. (a) When a full-time job needs to be posted to achieve the ratio FT/PT as mentioned above or when a vacancy in a position which is likely to remain open for over thirty (30) calendar days (or such longer period as the parties may mutually agree), notice of such vacancy shall be posted wherever possible, within seven (7) calendar days of the vacancy arising and shall remain posted for seven (7) calendar days on the bulletin board(s) provided for on the premises for that purpose.
(b) Once a position is posted it shall be deemed that the Employer intends to replace such position.
(c) Employees may apply in writing within the seven (7) calendar days for such job on the necessary form provided by the Employer.
(d) The Employer shall have seven (7) calendar days after the expiration of the posting to select the successful applicant and another seven (7) calendar days to post on the same bulletin board(s) the name and length of service of the successful applicant. The Employer may request extensions of these seven (7) calendars days periods and the Union agrees not to unreasonably refuse such request.
(e) If no applications are made, the Employer shall then be free to offer such vacancy to an employee from inside the bargaining unit regardless of their seniority, ability and competence or to a person outside the bargaining unit.
(f) Upon request, the Employer shall provide the Union or Union xxxxxxx with a copy of such vacancy posting.
(g) Upon request, the Employer shall provide the Union with a list of applicant(s).
(h) Where the senior employee is not chosen, the Employer will inform the Xxxxxxx before announcing the name of the successful applicant. Any employee who applies for the job and was not chosen may, within seven (7) calendar days after the successful applicant has been declared, lodge a grievance in accordance with the Grievance Procedure.
(i) The incumbent shall receive the start rate of the full-time classification or whatever level on the scale that would provide such employee an increase and progress on the full-time wage scale thereafter. In any event such employee shall not receive less increase thereafter than they would have received if such employee would have remained part-time employee.
(j) The Employer agrees to provide a reasonable familiarization period of four (4) weeks to the successful applicant.
Job Posting Process. (a) As per Article 8.02 of the full-time section of this Agreement and as per the following:
(b) The Employer agrees to post on designated bulletin boards all part- time job openings. As openings become available the Employer will transfer employees by store seniority subject to relevant qualifications.
(c) When transferred to a higher rated classification the employee will be placed on the wage scale at the level which gives them an increase and shall proceed upwards thereafter in accordance with the time frames. When transferred to a lower rated classification the employee will be placed at the level equal to their rate of pay but not higher than the top rate of the new classification.
(d) A part-time employee who has been accepted to fill a posted job vacancy cannot apply on any other posted part-time vacancy job except if said job is of a higher rate of pay or a period of six (6) months has elapsed.
Job Posting Process. The Company will maintain an environment in which employees can make known their interest in transferring to other positions for which they are qualified to perform and which may satisfy their personal needs. A job posting and transfer process will be maintained which will allow employees, without fear of reprisal, to make application for transfer and receive consideration as a candidate for open positions for which they are qualified. All employees, including those involved in surpluses, shall be subject to the terms and conditions of the Company’s job posting process per PRO-6477, dated May 28, 2008. Release earlier than 12 months will generally be authorized when the releasing management determines such release to be in the best interest of the company and the employee. If management is unable to release prior to 12 months, exceptions must be elevated to the applicable Functional Skill Team to validate business case and consider potential adverse impact to employee. In cases where resolution is not reached through discussion, appeal to the Enterprise Senior Workforce Manager may be submitted.

INTERNAL SELECTION POLICY The University subscribes to the principle of affording opportunities for promotion and transfers to employees and believes that job opportunities should increase with length of service. The following factors shall be given equal weight when considering candidates: education, knowledge, skills and experience and seniority. All determinations by the University regarding candidates will be made fairly, reasonably without discrimination, and in good faith.

Job Posting Process. Notice of vacancies intended to be filled, shall be posted in a prominent place in all City Departments. The posting will state whether the selection process will be done for permanent and/or temporary, actual and/or anticipatory staffing requirements. The posting of anticipatory staffing positions shall be known as a “periodic posting” as outlined below. The posting requirements for all positions are as follows: In the event that the posting is for an actual permanent vacancy, it will be posted within fourteen (14) calendar days of the vacancy. Applicants will have fourteen (14) calendar days to apply for such vacancy. The date of posting shall be entered on the notice when it is posted. All necessary details relevant to the vacancy shall be included in the notice as per appendix “E”.
Job Posting Process a) Prior to filling a vacant position in the Bargaining Unit the vacancy shall be posted on the Employer’s website in any of the following ways:
i) Internally for a minimum of five (5) Days
ii) Simultaneously internally and externally for a minimum of five (5) Days
iii) Internally for a minimum of five (5) Days and if no qualified internal candidates, then post externally for ten (10) Days
b) The Employer shall not be required to re-post a position of the same employment status which has become vacant, in the same Unit, within three (3) months of the last posting date provided that there are candidates that the Employer previously deemed qualified.
