Common use of Professional Leave Clause in Contracts

Professional Leave. The Board agrees that professional leave days with pay may be granted for the following purposes: (a) Attending and/or participating in professional meetings relating to educational workshops, seminars, or conferences sponsored by industry, professional associations, colleges, universities, or governmental agencies concerned with public school matters. (b) Visitation to other school corporations or educational institutions for the purpose of observing instructional techniques or other instructionally-oriented programs.

Approved leave and pre-approved expenses shall be paid by the Board. Receipts shall be required for all reimbursable expenses.

(b) b. Visitation to other school corporations or educational institutions for the purpose purposes of observing instructional techniques or other instructionally-instructionally oriented programs.

(b) B. Visitation to other school corporations or educational institutions for the purpose of observing instructional techniques or other instructionally-oriented programs.
