Progression on the Wage Grid (Part-Time Only). Collective Agreements currently containing a part-time wage grid shall continue such wage grids in effect. Effective October 10, 1986 employees shall progress on such grid on the basis that 1725 hours worked equals one (1) year of service. Where, however, part-time employees are on a single rate structure, the full-time wage grid shall apply and progression through the grid shall be in accordance with the foregoing.

Progression on the Wage Grid (Part-Time Only). Insert the following standard language. Where the collective agreement provides otherwise and the parties cannot agree to the standard language, the existing provision will be maintained as non-standard language. Any non-standard provision related to Progression on the Wage Grid shall be continued under Article 25. Collective Agreements currently containing a part-time wage grid shall continue such wage grids in effect.   • - Progression on the Wage Grid (The following clause is applicable to part-time employees only) Effective October 10, 1986 part-time employees, including casual employees, shall accumulate service for the purpose of progression on the wage grid, on the basis of one year for each 1725 hours worked. Notwithstanding the above, employees hired prior to October 10, 1986 will be credited with the service they held for the purpose of progression on the wage grid under the Agreement expiring September 28, 1985 and will thereafter accumulate service in accordance with this Article.

  • Employee Called as a Witness The Employer will grant leave with pay:

  • Special Parental Allowance for Totally Disabled Employees (a) An employee who:

  • Part-time Nurses a. If a regular part-time nurse works on one of the holidays set forth in paragraph A above, he/she will be paid for all time worked on said holiday at two (2) times his/her regular straight-time hourly rate of pay.

  • Special Maternity Allowance for Totally Disabled Employees (a) An employee who:

  • Medicaid-Funded Hours Worked Effective July 1, 2021, the Employer shall contribute the Retirement Rate or eighty cents ($0.80), whichever is higher, to the Retirement Trust for each Medicaid-Funded Hour worked by all home care workers covered by this Agreement with seven-hundred and one (701) or more cumulative career hours and fifty cents ($0.50) for each hour worked by all home care workers covered by this Agreement with less than seven-hundred one (701) cumulative career hours. Medicaid- Funded Hour(s) worked shall be defined as all hours worked by all employees covered by this Agreement in the Employer's in-home care program that are paid by Medicaid, excluding vacation hours, paid-time off hours, and training hours.

  • Full-time/Part-time Ratio So long as a full-time position exists there will be no splitting of that position into two or more part-time positions without the agreement of the Union, such agreement not to be unreasonably withheld.

  • Leave of Absence for Employees Who Serve as Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association An employee who serves as Local Coordinator for the Ontario Nurses' Association shall be granted leave of absence without pay up to a total of thirty-five (35) days annually. Leave of absence for Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association will be separate from the Union leave provided in (a) above.
