Promotions and Job Postings. 10.01 When the Company determines it necessary to fill a vacancy in the Bargaining Unit, a job posting will be prepared and posted for a period of thirty (30) calendar days or for such other period of time as the parties shall mutually agree upon. The Company may temporarily fill the position as mutually agreed to with the Union, until a permanent replacement can be found. Preference will be given to a bargaining unit employee if one is available and qualified for the job.
