Tech Change. An employee who is displaced from his job classification due to the introduction of technical change in the Company’s operations covered by this Agreement shall be given due consideration for other available jobs in the bargaining unit, if qualified.

Tech Change. When technological change or new processes are introduced into the workplace, employees shall be provided adequate training and/or orientation as mutually agreed between the parties.
Tech Change. Definition: Any change in technology, method or procedure of operation during the period of a Collective Agreement which decreases the numbers of employees that existed when the current contract was negotiated with the Union, except for normal layoff, such as those occurring as a result of a decline in the volume of business.   • Major Change For a major change referred to in paragraph (1)(a):

  • Shift Change Where employees are assigned mid-week to work a non-day shift (whether due to emergencies or a shift change) and as a result lose a shift in the regular work week, such employees will be paid six (6) hours for such loss of earnings.

  • Interim Changes Since the date of its balance sheets, except as set forth in Exhibit C, there have been no (1) changes in financial condition, assets, liabilities or business of Amalgamated which, in the aggregate, have been materially adverse; (2) damages, destruction or losses of or to property of Amalgamated, payments of any dividend or other distribution in respect of any class of stock of Amalgamated, or any direct or indirect redemption, purchase or other acquisition of any class of any such stock; or (3) increases paid or agreed to in the compensation, retirement benefits or other commitments to its employees.

  • Change The School, as any other, is likely to undergo a number of changes during the period of this agreement. For example, there may be changes in the staff, and in the premises, facilities and their use, in the curriculum and the size and composition of classes, and in the School rules and procedures, the disciplinary framework, and the length of School Terms. In addition, there may be the need to undertake a corporate reorganisation exercise and / or a merger or change of ownership may be necessary. For these reasons, the benefit and burden of this agreement may be freely assigned to another party at the discretion of the School.

  • Introduction of Change (a) If the employer has made a definite decision to introduce major changes in production, programme, organisation, structure or technology that are likely to have significant effects on practitioners, the employer shall notify the practitioners who may be affected by the proposed changes and the Association. (b) Significant effects" include termination of employment, major changes in the composition, operation or size of the employer's workforce or in the skills required; the elimination or diminution of job opportunities, promotion opportunities or job tenure; the alteration of hours of work; the need for retraining or transfer of practitioners to other work or locations and restructuring of jobs. If this Agreement provides for alteration of any of the matters referred to herein an alteration shall be deemed not to have significant effect. (a) The employer shall discuss with the practitioners affected and the Association, inter alia, the introduction of the changes referred to in subclause (1) hereof, the effects the changes are likely to have on practitioners, measures to avert or mitigate the adverse effects of such changes on practitioners and shall give prompt consideration to matters raised by the practitioners and/or the Association in relation to the changes. (b) The discussion shall commence as early as practicable after a firm decision has been made by the employer to make the changes referred to in subclause (1) hereof. (c) For the purposes of such discussion, the employer shall provide to the practitioners concerned and the Association, all relevant information about the changes including the nature of the changes proposed; the expected effects of the changes on practitioners and any other matters likely to affect practitioners, but the employer shall not be required to disclose confidential information the disclosure of which would be inimical to their interests.

  • Room Changes No changes in room assignment will be based upon age, race, religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, and online profiles except as needed to provide a reasonable accommodation to residents with eligible disabilities registered with the College Office of Counseling and Disability Services. Room change may only be made with the written approval of College Housing and is dependent upon space availability, timing of the request, and grounds for transfer. Residents who receive approval for a room change may be charged a room change fee as shown on the College Housing website, which will be posted to Resident’s account.   • Change of Control/Change in Management (i) During any period of twelve (12) consecutive months ending on each anniversary of the Agreement Date, individuals who at the beginning of any such 12-month period constituted the Board of Trustees of the Parent Guarantor (together with any new trustees whose election by such Board or whose nomination for election by the shareholders of the Parent Guarantor was approved by a vote of a majority of the trustees then still in office who were either trustees at the beginning of such period or whose election or nomination for election was previously so approved) cease for any reason to constitute a majority of the Board of Trustees of the Parent Guarantor then in office; (ii) Any “person” or “group” (as such terms are used in Sections 13(d) and 14(d) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended (the “Exchange Act”)), is or becomes the “beneficial owner” (as defined in Rules 13d-3 and 13d-5 under the Exchange Act, except that a Person will be deemed to have “beneficial ownership” of all securities that such Person has the right to acquire, whether such right is exercisable immediately or only after the passage of time), directly or indirectly, of more than 35% of the total voting power of the then outstanding voting stock of the Parent Guarantor; (iii) The Parent Guarantor shall cease to own and control, directly or indirectly, at least a majority of the outstanding Equity Interests of the Borrower; or (iv) The Parent Guarantor or a Wholly-Owned Subsidiary of the Parent Guarantor shall cease to be the sole general partner of the Borrower or shall cease to have the sole and exclusive power to exercise all management and control over the Borrower.

  • Status Change Upon the termination of the Optionee’s Employment, this Option shall continue or terminate, as and to the extent provided in the Plan and this Agreement.

  • Schedule Change When a change of work schedule is requested by an employee and approved by the Agency, all forms of penalty pay shall be waived by the employee. When a change of work schedule is requested by an employee and approved by the Agency, overtime compensation for that workday, but not for work over forty (40) hours per week, associated with the changed schedule shall be waived.
