Tech Change. An employee who is displaced from his job classification due to the introduction of technical change in the Company’s operations covered by this Agreement shall be given due consideration for other available jobs in the bargaining unit, if qualified.
Tech Change. When technological change or new processes are introduced into the workplace, employees shall be provided adequate training and/or orientation as mutually agreed between the parties.
Tech Change. Definition: Any change in technology, method or procedure of operation during the period of a Collective Agreement which decreases the numbers of employees that existed when the current contract was negotiated with the Union, except for normal layoff, such as those occurring as a result of a decline in the volume of business.
