PROMOTIONS, VACANCIES. Section 1 For purposes of this Article, a "promotional position" is defined as an administrative or leadership position over and above that of a classroom teacher. All vacant promotional positions shall be publicized by a notice posted during the school year in every school building for ten (10) school days in advance of filling such vacancy, although the position may, in the meantime, be temporarily filled. Staff shall be notified of available promotional positions by e-mail.
