Provider Communication. Contractor must maintain a regular means of communicating and providing information on changes in policies and procedures to Providers. Contractor shall provide no less than thirty (30) days’ notice to Providers of policy changes prior to implementation by Contractor. Contractor must notify Providers of any changes to prior authorization policies no less than thirty (30) days before the date of implementation. In circumstances where the Department provides Contractor with less than thirty (30) days’ notice from the effective date of a policy change, Contractor must notify Providers within three (3) Business Days of receipt of the Department’s notification.

Contractor shall ensure that Contractor staff, employees, agents, subcontractors, and others acting on its behalf have received all required training and education to effectively service Network Providers. The Department in consultation with Contractor may establish a process for Network Providers to evaluate the performance of Contractor staff.
Provider Communication. HMO will not prohibit, attempt to prohibit or discourage any physician or health professional from discussing or communicating to a Member or a Member’s designee any information or opinions regarding the Member’s health care, any provisions of the Plan as it relates to the medical needs of the Member or the fact that the physician or health professional’s contract with the HMO has terminated or that the physician or health professional will no longer be providing services under the HMO.
Provider Communication. Vendor shall require Dental Providers to provide information regarding treatment options in a culturally competent manner, including the option of no treatment. Vendor shall also require Dental Providers to assure that individuals with disabilities are furnished with effective communications in making decisions regarding treatment options.

YOU SHOULD NOT USE THE PLATFORM TO COMMUNICATE URGENT ISSUES TO A PROVIDER. Providers are not required to and may not quickly respond to a message that You send via the Platform, and even then, there is no guarantee of a response. FOR ALL MEDICAL EMERGENCIES AND URGENT MATTERS, PLEASE GO TO AN EMERGENCY ROOM OR DIAL 911 IMMEDIATELY. The Platform is not a substitute for appropriate and timely contact with a health care professional. o Any communications You have with a Provider through the Platform may be made part of Your official medical record independently by Your Provider, in Your Provider’s discretion. o If You decide at a later time that You do not want Your Provider to access Your Platform account, You may terminate such sharing as described in the Platform policies and procedures.

  • Routine Communications All routine communications related to the Contract shall be sent to the Department’s Contract Manager. If any of the Contractor’s contract information changes during the life of the Contract, the Contractor shall notify the Department’s Contract Manager; such updates do not necessitate a formal amendment to the Contract. Communications relating to a Customer contract or purchase order should be addressed to the contact person identified in the contract or purchase order. Routine communications may be my email, regular mail, or telephone.

  • Contractor Communication or Disclosure The Contractor shall not make any public statements, press releases, publicity releases, or other similar communications concerning the Contract or its subject matter or otherwise disclose or permit to be disclosed any of the data or other information obtained or furnished in compliance with the Contract, without first notifying the Customer’s Contract Manager and securing the Customer’s prior written consent.
