PTO Pay Upon Termination. All unused accrued PTO hours will be paid out at termination or upon retirement, except when an employee is terminated for just cause or resigns during an investigation into their misconduct. In the event of the death of an employee, all unused accrued PTO time shall be paid to the estate.

PTO Pay Upon Termination. An employee who has unused PTO and is terminating employment will be paid out his/her PTO balance if he/she has provided the Employer with a two (2) week notice of intent to terminate employment. In addition to the notice requirement set forth above, the terminating employee must continue to work the entire length of the notice period before his/her PTO balance is paid out. Failure to give the required notice and/or work during the notice period will result in forfeiture of the payout of PTO unless there is a mutual agreement between the Employer and the employee to the contrary.
