Public Education and Outreach Program. CITY will be responsible for public education and outreach related to the Recycle Plus Program. If CONTRACTOR chooses to distribute public education and outreach materials or engage in outreach activities related to the Recycle Plus Program at its own expense, such materials or activities must be approved by the City Representative in advance. Copies of any outreach material and/or a description of the outreach activities shall be submitted to the City Representative for prior review and approval at least fifteen (15) Work Days in advance of providing the outreach to the public. CONTRACTOR shall provide copies of approved outreach material to the City Representative within five (5) Work Days after publication.

Public Education and Outreach Program. 3 CONTRACTOR, at its own expense, shall prepare, submit and implement an 4 annual Public Education and Outreach Program (“PEOP”) that is in addition to CITY’s 5 Public Education and Outreach Program. CONTRACTOR shall submit the proposed 7 calendar year. Campaigns should target “problem” areas of CONTRACTOR’s Service 8 District where improvements can be maximized. Targets of outreach should be based 9 on local trends and patterns based on information obtained by both CITY and 10 CONTRACTOR. Required elements of the annual PEOP are listed in Exhibit 9 11 (“OUTREACH”) to this Agreement. All public education and outreach material must be 12 approved by the City Representative prior to distribution. 13 CONTRACTOR shall include in its quarterly report to the CITY a summary of 14 outreach activities that have taken place during the preceding quarter, the cost of those 15 activities, and activities that are planned for the upcoming quarter. Invoices for all 16 outreach and public education activities of the preceding quarter that were performed by 17 persons other than CONTRACTOR’s employees shall be included as part of the report.

All public education and outreach material must be approved by the 15 City Representative prior to distribution. 16 CONTRACTOR shall submit a report quarterly providing a summary of outreach 17 activities that have taken place during the preceding quarter, the cost of those activities, 18 and those that are planned for the upcoming quarter. Invoices for all outreach and public 19 education activities undertaken as part of this Collection Service Agreement of the 20 preceding quarter shall be included as part of the report.

The public outreach plan must accompany the first invoice for payment from Sponsor.   • Training Program It is agreed that there shall be an Apprenticeship Training Program, the provisions of which are set forth in Exhibit "D", which is attached hereto and forms part of this Agreement.

  • Education and Training The foundation of this Program is education and voluntary compliance. It is recognized that alcohol and chemical dependency may make voluntary cessation of use difficult, and one of the Program’s principal aims is to make voluntary steps toward ending substance abuse easily available. The outside contractor shall review and develop on-going educational and training information on the adverse consequences of substance abuse and the responsibility to avoid being under the influence of alcohol or chemicals at work. Certain training required by the DOT Regulations shall be the responsibility of the Substance Abuse Program.

  • In-Service Education The parties recognize the value of in-service both to the employee and the Employer and shall encourage employees to participate in in-service. All employees scheduled by the Employer to attend in-service seminars shall receive regular wages.
