Public Education Program. Boise City shall be the lead agency for the Public Education Program pursuant to this Agreement. The Public Education Program includes the development of an education outreach program as required by the NPDES Pennit. The Public Education Program consists primarily of: 1. Conducting the public outreach program as described in the NPDES 2. Assessing the penetration of information and any changes in behavior as a result of the Education Program.

Public Education Program. The Contractor shall be responsible for a public education program and public information efforts. The Contractor shall develop, distribute and pay for all education and information program costs concerning the solid waste, bulk collection. All materials shall be approved by the City to assure that information is consistent with the contract and City ordinances. The information shall include a description of the collection process and the regulations pertaining to preparation of materials to be collected and times of collection. The information should also communicate to the residents any problems that are being experienced by the Contractor and what the residents can do to eliminate the problems. Distribution of information shall be made no less often than every thirteen weeks or when a change in service, regulations or manner of collection is made. Other than the items outlined below, the Contractor can determine the manner of distribution to each residence as long as each and every resident is kept informed. Copies of all materials must be submitted to the City no less than 30 days prior to distribution for review and comments. A. The Contractor shall publish at least two (2) advertisements per year in the local newspaper extolling the benefits of recycling and encouraging Oelwein residents to recycle. Each ad must cover at least one-quarter of a page. B. The Contractor shall publish four (4) consecutive weekly advertisements, one month in advance of the implementation of single stream recycling program. The advertisement shall be developed in consultation with the City and contain mutually agreed upon information regarding the transition to a recycling container and acceptable materials. The advertisement shall also include detailed logistical information pertaining to the process by which the new on recycling totes will be distributed and the currently utilized bins will be collected.

  • General Education University Program Requirements All MTA applicable courses require a grade “C” or higher

  • Union Education If the local union indicates to the Hospital that its members have approved a special assessment for union education in accordance with the CUPE constitution and local union by laws, the Hospital agrees to deduct this assessment. Such assessment will be paid on a quarterly basis into a trust fund established and administered by OCHU/CUPE for this purpose.

  • Continuing Education The Hospital and the Union recognize that continuing education is important for all employees and that they have shared interests and responsibilities in ensuring equitable access to it.

  • Special Education Teachers Elementary/Secondary Special Education Coordinators shall be compensated for an extended work day in the amount of four thousand dollars ($4,000).

  • In-Service Education The parties recognize the value of in-service both to the employee and the Employer and shall encourage employees to participate in in-service. All employees scheduled by the Employer to attend in-service seminars shall receive regular wages.

  • Training and Education SECTION 1 – Law Enforcement Supervisors’ Training

  • Educational Program A. DSST PUBLIC SCHOOLS shall implement and maintain the following characteristics of its educational program in addition to those identified in the Network Contract at DSST XXXX MIDDLE SCHOOL (“the School” within Exhibit A-3). These characteristics are subject to modification with the District’s written approval:

  • Special Education Special education services, related services, and accommodations for students who are eligible under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Section 504), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), or any applicable provisions of state law, shall be provided in accordance with applicable state and federal law, this Agreement and Authorizer rules and policies. The Authorizer is the LEA for purposes of ensuring compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and all other federal and state laws and regulations concerning accommodation of and education of students with disabilities.

  • Paid Education Leave The Company agrees to pay into a special fund effective January 1st, 2013 and each year thereafter, two thousand ($2,000.00) for the purpose of providing Paid Education Leave. Said Paid Education Leave will be for the purpose of upgrading the Dependent Contractor’s skills in all aspects of trade union functions. Such monies will be paid into a trust fund established by the National Union, Unifor and sent by the Company to the following address: Unifor Education Leave Program c/o Unifor 000 Xxxxxx Xxxxx Xxxxxxx, XX X0X 0X0 The Company further agrees that members of the bargaining unit selected by the Union to attend such courses will be granted a Leave of Absence without pay for twenty (20) days class time, plus travel time where necessary, with said Leave of Absence to be intermittent over a twelve (12) month period from the first day of leave. Dependent Contractors on such leave will continue to accrue seniority and benefits during such leave.

  • Resident Educator Program The four-year program is designed to provide newly licensed Ohio educators quality mentoring and guidance. Successful completion of the residency program is required to advance to a five-year professional educator license.
