Hearing Aid. The Employer agrees to continue a $300.00 Hearing Aid Benefit one hundred percent (100%) Employer paid.
Hearing Aid a monaural hearing aid, a set of binaural hearing aids, or other device worn by the recipient to improve his/her access to and use of auditory information.

Hearing Aid. Any device that does not produce as its output an electrical signal that directly stimulates the auditory nerve. Examples of hearing aids are devices that produce air-conducted sound into the external auditory canal, devices that produce sound by mechanically vibrating bone, or devices that produce sound by vibrating the cochlear fluid through stimulation of the round window. Devices such as cochlear implants, which produce as their output an electrical signal that directly stimulates the auditory nerve, are not considered to be hearing aids. HOME HEALTH CARE PROVIDER – a licensed Provider that has entered into an agreement with the HMO to provide home health care Covered Services to Members on an intermittent basis in the Members home in accordance with an approved home health care Plan of Treatment. HOSPICE – a Facility Provider that is engaged in providing palliative care rather than curative care to terminally ill individuals. The Hospice must be (1) certified by Medicare to provide Hospice services, or accredited as a Hospice by the appropriate regulatory agency; and (2) appropriately licensed in the state where it is located. HOSPITAL – a short-term, acute care, general Hospital which has been approved by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and/or by the American Osteopathic Hospital Association or by the HMO and which:
Hearing Aid. Expenses for the purchase, replacement, rental, adjustment and repair of hearing aids.
Hearing Aid. Hearing Aid means any nonexperimental and wearable instrument or device offered to aid or compensate for impaired human hearing that is worn in or on the body. The term Hearing Aid includes any parts, ear molds, repair parts, and replacement parts of such instrument or device, including, but not limited to, nonimplanted bone anchored hearing aids, nonimplanted bone conduction hearing aids, and frequency modulation systems. Personal sound amplification products shall not qualify as hearing aids. Home Health Care Care, by a state-licensed program or Provider, for the treatment of a patient in the patient’s home, consisting of required intermittent skilled care, which may include observation, evaluation, teaching and nursing services consistent with the diagnosis, established and approved inwriting by the patient’s attending Physician.
Hearing Aid. A non-experimental, wearable instrument or device designed for the ear and offered for the purpose of aiding or compensating for impaired human hearing, excluding batteries and cords and other assistive listening devices, including but not limited to frequency modulation systems. Home Health Agency. An institution that is licensed as a home health agency. Home Health Care Services. Services provided within the home if hospitalization or confinement in a residential treatment facility would otherwise be required. The home health care services covered by the Plan include:
