Purpose and Scope of Authority. The University and the Union will maintain a Union-Management Communication Committee to provide a forum for communication between the parties and to promote constructive labor- management relations. Committee meetings will be used for discussions only; the committee shall have no authority to conduct any negotiations or modify the provisions of this Agreement. The agenda shall be limited to items that are of a group rather than an individual interest or concern and shall not include individual grievances properly processed under the grievance procedure.
