COMMUNICATION COMMITTEE Sample Clauses

COMMUNICATION COMMITTEE. The Communication Committee is composed of Association president, vice-president, and representatives from all buildings and special areas and the Superintendent of Schools (and such other necessary administrative personnel). The purpose of this group is to maintain open lines of communication between staff and Superintendent of schools, but shall not be used to circumvent the negotiations process set forth in this Master Agreement. Any questions or issues that could be addressed by administrators other than the Superintendent must be presented to the appropriate administrator(s) prior to being submitted to the Superintendent in a Communication Committee meeting. Meetings shall be held monthly during the course of the school year unless mutually suspended by the Association president and the Superintendent. Questions or issues to be discussed during Communication Committee meetings shall be submitted to the Superintendent at least five (5) workdays prior to the meeting.
COMMUNICATION COMMITTEESection 1. The Police Chief and the City Manager’s designee may meet monthly, as needed, with representatives of the Fort Dodge Police Bargaining Unit. The purpose of said Section 2. It is agreed that pending grievances will not be discussed at these meetings.
COMMUNICATION COMMITTEE. A. The HEA Communication Committee and the superintendent will meet once a month, the first Monday of every month, from September to May of the school year, to discuss non-negotiable items. The communication committee will consist of three (3) HEA negotiation team members and two (2) teachers to be selected at large. In addition, if deemed necessary by the superintendent or the Association, a special meeting may be called by the superintendent or an HEA communication team representative. The Communication Committee shall email items for discussion to the superintendent by noon the same day of the meeting. The committee shall meet in the first Monday of every other month (odd months/communications meeting), starting in September, at a location convenient to all committee members, and the committee shall meet and confer in “good faith” on matters including, but not limited to, the improvement of the school system, problem areas within the school system, etc. It shall be the goal of the Advisory Communication Committee to keep the lines of communication open between the Administration and the Association so that problems and potential problems may be better and more openly dealt with. B. The HEA Negotiations Committee and the superintendent will meet once a month, the first Monday of every month, from September to May of the school year, to discuss negotiable items. The Negotiation Committee shall consist of teachers who are involved in summer negotiations. In addition, if deemed necessary by the superintendent or the Association, a special meeting may be called by the superintendent or an HEA negotiations team representative. C. The committee shall meet in the first Monday of every other month (even months/negotiations meeting),starting in October, at a location convenient to all committee members, and the committee shall meet and confer in “good faith” on matters including, but not limited to, the improvement of the school system, problem areas within the school system, etc. D. The Communication Committee will be responsible for the input to the superintendent concerning the school calendar as it is developed. E. The superintendent will be responsible for emailing a copy of the communication items and responses to all faculty and staff. This is not a grievable item.
COMMUNICATION COMMITTEE. 6.01 The QBEA and the Board of Education recognize the importance of communication in maintaining good relationships and agree to meet at least quarterly to discuss District-wide matters. The committee will not negotiate terms and conditions of employment, adjust grievances or address personnel issues. The QBEA will appoint representatives from each building and from each employee group in the bargaining unit, not to exceed eight (8) members. The Board and Administration representatives will include the Superintendent, the administrator responsible for curriculum, building administrators, one member of the Board of Education and others as needed (5-6 members). The Communication Committee will be co-chaired by the Superintendent and the President of the QBEA. All members of the committee will be trained in the interest-based process. Meeting minutes will be produced and distributed after each meeting.
COMMUNICATION COMMITTEE. ‌ The Communication Committee will be jointly established each year by the Artists and the Engager. The intent of the Communication Committee is to encourage open candid dialogue between Artists and the Engager and to afford both parties an opportunity to pose questions of one another, offer suggestions and bring grievances to light, and generally improve communication and understanding of respective problems and concerns. The Committee will be comprised of no less than two (2) Chorus members, one (1) Stage Manager, and one (1) representative of the Engager. Upon the request of any Committee Member a representative of Equity may participate in a Communication Committee meeting. The Committee will meet a minimum of one (1) time per Season.
COMMUNICATION COMMITTEE. (A) Establishment and Purpose
COMMUNICATION COMMITTEE. A. The Communication Committee is composed of the EEA President and representatives not to exceed seven (7), and the Superintendent of Schools (and such other necessary administrative personnel/Board, not to exceed four (4)). The purpose of this group is to maintain open lines of communication among staff, Board and the Superintendent of Schools. Meetings shall be held once per semester. Additional meetings may be held to undertake projects committed to the Communication Committee. The EEA President and Superintendent shall serve as co-chairpersons and shall be responsible for setting exact meeting dates, publishing agendas and conducting meetings. B. The Communication Committee is not established as a second negotiations process. Accordingly, except to the extent expressly provided by the collective bargaining agreement, negotiation items are not to be presented at Communication Committee meetings.
COMMUNICATION COMMITTEEDuring the school year, the principals may meet at their assigned school building upon request of either party, not more than once a month for one (1) hour before or after the school day, with a Communication Committee consisting of no more than three (3) Association members elected by the teaching staff from the building to discuss school problems and practices. The Committee shall review building practices for incentives/rewards for teachers.
COMMUNICATION COMMITTEE i. A Communication Committee composed of a mutually agreed, equal number of representatives of the Employer and the nursing employees at the Facility. Meetings of this Committee shall be held regularly, but not more than once every three (3) months without the consent of both parties. Notice of such a meeting, together with the agenda, must be given at least ten (10) days before the proposed meeting date, but a majority vote of those at the meeting may expand or reduce the original agenda. ii. The purpose of this Committee is to review matters relating to professional standards and performance and other matters of mutual concern which are brought to the attention of this Committee, but without prejudice to the rights of either party under the terms of this Agreement. Minutes of the meetings of this Committee will be kept and signed by both parties. Once approved and signed by both parties, the minutes will be posted in the Facility. The Chairperson will be selected from the two parties on an alternating basis once each year.
COMMUNICATION COMMITTEE. A Labor —Management Committee will be established for the purpose of communicating concerns.
