Quality and Best Value. 15.1 The Service Provider acknowledges that the Authority is a best value authority for the purposes of the Local Government Act 1999 and as such the Authority is required to make arrangements to secure continuous improvement in the way it exercises its functions (having regard to a combination of economy, efficiency and effectiveness) and, as such, the Service Provider shall, where reasonably requested by the Authority, participate in any relevant best value review.
Quality and Best Value. The Service Provider acknowledges that TfL is a best value authority for the purposes of the Local Government Act 1999 and as such TfL is required to make arrangements to secure continuous improvement in the way it exercises its functions, having regard to a combination of economy, efficiency and effectiveness, as such, the Service Provider shall, where reasonably requested by the Authority, participate in any relevant best value review.

The Contractor acknowledges that the Authority is a best value authority for the purposes of the Local Government Act 1999 and as such the Authority is required to make arrangements to secure continuous improvement in the way it exercises its functions (having regard to a combination of economy, efficiency and effectiveness) and, as such, the Contractor will, where reasonably requested by the Authority, participate in any relevant best value review.
Quality and Best Value. 16.1 The Consultant acknowledges that each Employer is a best value authority for the purposes of the Local Government Act 1999 and as such each Employer is required to make arrangements to secure continuous improvement in the way it exercises its functions, having regard to a combination of economy, efficiency and effectiveness. The Consultant assists each Employer to discharge each Employer’s duty where possible, and in doing so, inter alia carries out any reviews of the Services reasonably requested by the Framework Employer from time to time.
Quality and Best Value. 18.1 The Provider acknowledges that MOPAC has a duty to obtain good value for money and as such MOPAC is required to make arrangements to secure continuous improvements in the way it exercises its functions (having regard to a combination of economy, efficiency and effectiveness) and, as such, the Provider shall, where reasonably requested by MOPAC, participate in any relevant best value review.

The Service Provider acknowledges that the Authority is a best value authority for the purposes of the Local Government Act 1999 and as such the Authority is required to make arrangements to secure continuous improvement in the way it exercises its functions (having regard to a combination of economy, efficiency and effectiveness) and, as such, the Service Provider shall, where reasonably requested by the Authority, participate in any relevant best value review. Where the GLA is the Authority then in accordance with the statutory requirement set out in section 61(3) of the Greater London Authority Xxx 0000, the Service Provider shall send such representatives as may be requested to attend the Greater London Assembly for questioning in relation to the Contract. The Service Provider acknowledges that it may be liable to a fine or imprisonment if it fails to comply with a summons to attend.
Quality and Best Value. 42.1 The Supplier acknowledges that TfL is a best value authority for the purposes of the Local Government Act 1999 and as such the Company is required to make arrangements to secure continuous improvement in the way it exercises its functions, having regard to a combination of economy, efficiency and effectiveness. The Supplier assists the Company to discharge the Company’s duty where possible, and in doing so, inter alia carries out any reviews of the Supply reasonably requested by the Company from time to time.
Quality and Best Value. 24.1 The Provider shall maintain an effective and economical programme for quality, planned and developed in conjunction with any other functions of the Provider necessary to satisfy the requirements of this Agreement. The Provider acknowledges that the Council is a best value authority for the purposes of the Local Government Act 1999 and as such the Council is required to make arrangements to secure continuous improvement in the way they exercise their functions, having regard to a combination of economy, efficiency and effectiveness. The Provider shall assist the Council to discharge this duty and agrees to negotiate in good faith any changes to this Agreement in order for the Council to achieve best value.
Quality and Best Value. 16.1 The Concessionaire acknowledges that the Authority is a best value authority for the purposes of the Local Government Act 1999 and as such the Authority is required to make arrangements to secure continuous improvement in the way it exercises its functions (having regard to a combination of economy, efficiency and effectiveness) and, as such, the Concessionaire shall, where reasonably requested by the Authority, participate in any relevant best value review.
Quality and Best Value. The Operator acknowledges that the Administrator and each Participating Borough is a best value authority for the purposes of the Local Government Act 1999 and as such the Administrator and each Participating Borough is required to make arrangements to secure continuous improvement in the way it exercises its functions, (having regard to a combination of economy, efficiency and effectiveness), and as such, the Operator shall, notwithstanding that the Service is provided pursuant to the Trial, seek to provide the Service in a manner that secures continuous improvement in Service delivery under any Operator Contract including in respect of all interactions with the Administrator, Participating Boroughs, stakeholders and Users.
