Rate of Hire. Charterer shall pay hire at the rate determined, on each Determination Date (as defined below), in accordance with the following formula: (A + B + C) / 365 where A, B and C are defined as follows: A = ((w * x) + y), where w, x, and y are defined follows: w = the estimated interest rate for the 365 day period subsequent to the Determination Date. x = the projected weighted average principal balance of the Notes outstanding during the 365 day period subsequent to the Determination Date. y = the principal repayment requirements during the 365 day period subsequent to the Determination Date. B = the budgeted operating expenses for the vessel (excluding depreciation and amortization) for the 365 day period subsequent to the Determination Date. C = the budgeted cost of the next drydocking of the vessel, divided by the number of years (and fractions thereof) between the completion of the most recent drydocking of the vessel and the commencement of that next drydocking. The Determination Dates shall occur on January 10, 1994 and annually thereafter. In addition, there shall be a Determination Date upon the occurrence of any of the following: a) Principal Repayment b) The Company's annual operating expense and/or drydock budgets as calculated above have been revised upwards.
Rate of Hire. Subject as herein provided, Charterers shall pay for the use and hire of the vessel at the rate of United States Dollars $31,500 per day, and pro rata for any part of a day, from the time and date of her delivery (local time) to Charterers until the time and date of redelivery (local time) to Owners.

The ***** are stipulated in Article 6 of the Confirmation Memorandum. This daily hire rate applicable for all Charter extension periods is stipulated in Article 6 of the Confirmation Memorandum.

Rate of Hire. 9.1 Subject to the terms of this Charter, Charterer shall pay hire (“Hire”) commencing on the Hire Commencement Date and throughout the Charter Period (save for those times when the Vessel is off-Hire) monthly in advance to Owner pursuant to this Clause 9. Hire shall be paid in United States Dollars. 9.2 Owner shall be paid a daily fixed amount of: (c) in each case, covering the costs to Owner of the Vessel (including the Modifications) (the “Daily Hire”). If costs of the Modifications to the Vessel increase or decrease due to a modification in the Specifications requested by Charterer, Owner and Charterer shall consult and agree on an appropriate adjustment to the Daily Hire during the Initial Charter Period. 9.3 The amount of Hire due and payable by Charterer for any calendar month shall equal the Daily Hire multiplied by the number of days in such calendar month plus any other amounts payable by Charterer to Owner under this Charter less the permitted deductions from Hire under the terms of this Charter. Hire shall be pro-rated for any part of a day or, in respect of the first and last calendar months of this Charter, for part of a calendar month. All calculations of Hire shall be made by reference to GMT.

Rate of Hire. Subject to the terms and conditions of the Charter Ancilliary Agreement, the Charterers shall pay for the use of the vessel in accordance with the terms of this Charter Party a daily rate in US Dollars consisting of two components, a 'financial element' of US$14,500.- per day and an 'operating element' estimated at US$5,500.- per day giving a total rate of US$20,000.- per day. Out of this gross amount Charterers are to deduct at source 2 % brokerage which they are to pay directly to the brokers involved in accordance with clause 66. of this Charter-party. This charter is 'hell or high water' meaning the vessel is on charter 365 days per annum with there being no offhire. The vessel is chartered with an estimated operating expense of US$5,500 per day. If the overall operating expense is lower than said amount then Owners to refund to Charterers the difference between actual amount and the afore stated amount. Reconciliation of accounts to be completed on a quarterly basis based on the submitted account from the Management company. If the vessel's operating expenses exceed US$5,500.- per day then Charterers to make Owners whole for any difference. This amount to be settled on a quarterly basis based on submitted accounts from the Management. If the budgeted operating expenses alter either higher or lower by a margin of 10% from the agreed US$5,500.- (i.e. above US$6,050.- per day or below US$4,950.- per day) then hire for the subsequent period up until the next reconciliation to be adjusted accordingly.
