Reassignment/Layoff. 1. Within the department on same shift: Where additional manpower is required in an equalization group that has not been reduced by a temporary layoff of less than thirty (30) days (unless the duration of the layoff is extended pursuant to Section C above), employees who would otherwise be laid off from the decreasing equalization group on that shift from that department will be reassigned to an increasing equalization group in the following priority.

Reassignment/Layoff. In all reassignments/layoffs and recall from reassignment/layoffs, clinical groups shall be controlling. The Medical Center will not use the layoff procedure to effect staffing changes between bargaining unit employees and non-bargaining unit employees. In the event of reassignment/layoff of regular status nurses, the Medical Center will give twenty-one (21) calendar days written notice to the Association, Local Unit Chairperson and the affected clinical group nurse(s). At least twenty-one (21) days prior to a reassignment/layoff the Medical Center will take the following steps:

These duties shall be within the member’s competence and shall lead to no reduction in rank, salary, rights, seniority, or benefits for the member. Offers to transfer, whether made by the University or the academic staff member, shall not be refused unreasonably. The Faculty Association shall be present at all ensuing discussions between the University and the member relating to terms and conditions of the transfer. Any final agreement shall be placed in writing and provided to the member, with a copy to the Faculty Association, before the transfer or reassignment becomes effective.

  • ASSIGNMENT/SUB-CONTRACTING The Contractor agrees that he will not sell, assign or transfer this Agreement or any part thereof or interest therein without the prior written consent of the Owner.
