Recall From Reduction. Lay-off - Employees impacted by reduction-in- force (RIF) shall be notified by certified letter and a telephone call of new job openings within the employee’s classification. The employee must respond within ten (10) calendar days of their receipt of the certified letter or telephone call, whichever is sooner, or they will not be considered for the position. In addition, the District will send notification of all SEIU represented positions via regular mail.
