Remote Access Services. Each of the Customer and the Custodian agree to be bound by the terms of the Remote Access Services Addendum attached hereto as Exhibit A. The Customer acknowledges that the data and information it will be accessing from the Custodian is unaudited and may not be accurate due to inaccurate pricing of securities, delays of a day or more in updating the relevant account and other causes for which the Custodian will not be liable to the Customer.
Remote Access Services. Company may, at its sole option, provide as a courtesy, technical support services, which are subject to the following terms and conditions. User accepts all risks associated with any request or authorization by User permitting Company personnel to remotely access and control User’s computer. By requesting and permitting remote access, User acknowledges that User may be providing Company personnel with access to files and data on User’s computer. Before permitting remote access, User agrees to close any confidential or personal files and create a backup of any important files. Company personnel are not expected to make copies or download files or to retain any information accessed from User’s computer. User’s name and contact information provided to facilitate remote access may be logged to process support requests and will be processed in accordance with Company’s then-existing privacy policy.
Remote Access Services. Upon the Service Tower Commencement Date, Vendor will support ACI’s current environment which provides for ACI employees to remotely access (non-direct wired connections) to the ACI corporate network. These remote access services are defined as follows:
1. SSL via multiple network appliance devices [ * ] scattered geographically throughout the network;
2. Secure Broadband connectivity via Third Party vendor services [ * ]; and
3. Dial-up connectivity globally via Third Party vendor services [ * ] in which calls are placed through local numbers and routed via [ * ] services into the ACI corporate network. There are specific security requirements (checked by either the network appliance or the Third Party vendor’s software) to ensure a minimum of:
1. OS level and service patch;
2. A running copy of Antivirus Software; and
3. Antivirus definition files that are within [ * ] of the current date. During Transition, Vendor will initiate a project to replace the existing ACI remote access technology. Upon completion of the replacement project, Vendor will provide a standardized [ * ] remote access service. This service will provide:
Remote Access Services. Employees: Remote access support Services are the Services to support remote access hardware and software for Symetra employees in remote or home locations (e.g., VPN services).
Remote Access Services. Employees: Remote access support services for Symetra employees in remote or home locations.
Remote Access Services. Supplier will manage the distribution of the remote access dialer Software with the Gap remote access users for remote access services. Supplier will test the remote access dialer Software for integration into Gap’s standard PC image. Supplier will alert its remote access users when it is acceptable to download and use the remote access dialer Software. Supplier will accept dial in remote access users with *. The remote access dialer Software will connect to Supplier through the remote access user’s ISPs. The remote access dialer Software will be configured to provide a global directory to search for local access numbers, using the area code, or city or country.

(b) As of the Initiation Date, the remote access dialer Software will support the following operating environments:

Remote Access Services. General Requirements
1. Act as a single point of contact for the management of the Remote Access Services.
2. Provide for secure and reliable remote access connectivity into Data Center core networks from other DIR networks, DIR Customer networks, the public Internet and other industry standards-based Third Party Vendor networks.
2.1. Facilitate the maintenance of Applications by DIR Customer development staff.
3. Provide mechanisms to meet multiple agency security and Application requirements.
4. Provide a consistent interface to Data Center core networks.
Remote Access Services. Technical Requirements
1. Ensure that DIR and DIR Customer’s view is of one single platform.
2. Provide a fully redundant network based architecture.
3. Support dynamic routing for better redundancy.
4. Provide for latency based route selection, where traffic is routed to the ‘best’ network gateway.
5. Avoid the need for dedicated VPN servers and support transparent tunneling.
6. Support NIC registered and RFC1918 addressing schemas.
7. Support fixed IP addressing, such that users receive the same address each time they connect to the network as required.
8. Support split tunneling for single user connections, such that DIR and DIR Customers can access their secure networks and the Internet over a single secure connection.
9. Support use of the Remote Access Services by Third Party Vendors who provide support for Data Center Services via an Internet connection.
10. Provide solutions that are transport and access type independent.
