Common use of REPORTING ALLOWANCE Clause in Contracts

REPORTING ALLOWANCE. If an employee reports for work on a regular shift without having been notified previously not to report, he shall be given a full shift of work, or, if no work is available, he shall be given at least four (4) hours pay at regular rates provided, however, that this clause shall not apply in cases where work is not available due to causes beyond the reasonable control of the Company.
