Representation on District Committees. 14.1.1 The Association shall have a permanent representative on the Budget Steering Committee of the Elk Grove Unified School District. This representative shall have all the voting rights and privileges afforded any other member of said committee. The Association shall be notified in writing by the Superintendent of the formation of any committee or study group where the rights, privileges, or relationship between Association members and the Board will be discussed, changed or altered, and invited to have a representative present at said committee or study group meeting.
Representation on District Committees. The Union may appoint one (1) representative to each of the following College (non- Faculty Senate) committees: Diversity and Equal Employment Opportunity Advisory Committee, Safety Committee, and Employee Development. The Union may appoint one (1) representative to District shared governance committees that are within the scope of representation as defined in Government Code Section 3543.2. The Union may appoint a total of three (3) representatives to the restructured Safety Committee, one of which may be the CCFF President. Two representatives must be CCFF Unit members.
Representation on District Committees. The Association will appoint at least one unit member to all District-wide committees. The District shall advise the Association of all such committees in existence plus any new committees at the time of their formation. The foregoing shall not limit the District’s freedom to select any additional unit member employees.
