Common use of Restricted Carry-Over of Vacation Benefits Clause in Contracts

Restricted Carry-Over of Vacation Benefits. Employees completing their first year of employment must take vacation, which accrued on their first anniversary date, between said first anniversary date and the end of that calendar year. An employee whose first anniversary falls so as to render it impossible to take such vacation before the end of the calendar- year, or whose request to take such vacation is denied by management, shall be allowed to carry such vacation over into the next calendar year.
