Retired Faculty Right. Retired full-time faculty who become adjunct professors will carry their entire service tenure for purposes of this one class assignment right in their discipline.

Retired Faculty Right. Retired full-time professors shall become professors emeriti and be awarded eight (8) primary terms of service credit to achieve rehire right status and shall be placed on the rehire rights seniority list.
Retired Faculty Right. Any full-time faculty member who retires after September 1, 1991, from Erie Community College will have the right to teach up to six (6) contact hours per academic semester in any Academic Unit in which they are deemed qualified. Effective September 1, 2006, full-time faculty members who retire after such date will have this preferential right for a period of five (5) years past their retirement. After this period, continuation of such preference for part-time teaching shall be based upon favorable departmental annual evaluation. The right of course selection will come after all full-time faculty members have exercised their rights to course selection and before all other part-time faculty. These retired faculty members will be compensated at the current overload/part-time teaching rate.
Retired Faculty Right. Any full-time faculty member who retires from Erie Community College will have the right to teach up to one course per academic semester in the year following retirement provided that: a. The employee must have taught the class within the last three academic years b. The employee must be qualified and current in the field as determined by the academic unit c. The employee must notify the department chair, in writing, of the class for which he/she is seeking preference; such notice must be made after full- time employees have selected their courses d. The preference referenced herein is limited to the class identified by the retiree and shall not transfer to any other course in the even the original class does not run or if the class is assigned to a full-time employee at run/cancel. The retiree shall be evaluated during that academic year and, if he/she receives a satisfactory evaluation, he/she shall continue to have preference for the ensuing two years. If any course to which the retiree is assigned is cancelled, the retiree shall not have any right to bump any full-time or part-time faculty member from an assignment. These retired faculty members will be compensated at the current overload/part-time teaching rate.

  • TECHNOLOGY/KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER ACTIVITIES The goal of this task is to develop a plan to make the knowledge gained, experimental results, and lessons learned available to the public and key decision makers. • Prepare an Initial Fact Sheet at start of the project that describes the project. Use the format provided by the CAM. • Prepare a Final Project Fact Sheet at the project’s conclusion that discusses results. Use the format provided by the CAM. • Prepare a Technology/Knowledge Transfer Plan that includes: o An explanation of how the knowledge gained from the project will be made available to the public, including the targeted market sector and potential outreach to end users, utilities, regulatory agencies, and others. o A description of the intended use(s) for and users of the project results. o Published documents, including date, title, and periodical name. o Copies of documents, fact sheets, journal articles, press releases, and other documents prepared for public dissemination. These documents must include the Legal Notice required in the terms and conditions. Indicate where and when the documents were disseminated. o A discussion of policy development. State if project has been or will be cited in government policy publications, or used to inform regulatory bodies. o The number of website downloads or public requests for project results. o Additional areas as determined by the CAM. • Conduct technology transfer activities in accordance with the Technology/Knowledge Transfer Plan. These activities will be reported in the Progress Reports. • When directed by the CAM, develop Presentation Materials for an Energy Commission- sponsored conference/workshop(s) on the project. • When directed by the CAM, participate in annual EPIC symposium(s) sponsored by the California Energy Commission. • Provide at least (6) six High Quality Digital Photographs (minimum resolution of 1300x500 pixels in landscape ratio) of pre and post technology installation at the project sites or related project photographs. • Prepare a Technology/Knowledge Transfer Report on technology transfer activities conducted during the project. • Initial Fact Sheet (draft and final) • Final Project Fact Sheet (draft and final) • Presentation Materials (draft and final) • High Quality Digital Photographs • Technology/Knowledge Transfer Plan (draft and final) • Technology/Knowledge Transfer Report (draft and final)
