Return from Protected Leave. Except as specifically provided 2 elsewhere in this article, nurses returning from a protected leave will be reassigned to 3 their former position or an equivalent position. For purposes of this provision, protected 4 leave shall include leaves designated as FMLA or OFLA family or medical leave, 5 military family leave, and OVCCLA leave.
