Common use of Return of Service, Trades and Maintenance Work Clause in Contracts

Return of Service, Trades and Maintenance Work. ‌ Senior representatives of the Employer from each Health Authority/PHC will meet with the Union at least two (2) times per year to discuss trades and maintenance work currently being performed by outside contractors. The Employer will advise the Union if it is considering retaining outside contractors. The Employer will disclose all relevant and appropriate data and documents to the Union. The parties will consider and discuss factors such as the scope and amount of work being performed by contracted services, the term of the contracts, options for multi-site float crews, optimization of safety in health care settings, and any other factors relevant to the delivery and cost of the service required.
