RETURNING FROM DISABILITY LEAVE. It is agreed and understood that the District has no obligation to provide an employee returning from disability leave with a light-duty assignment. It is further agreed that the District shall not remove an employee from disability leave for the reason that the employee is able to perform a light-duty assignment when such assignment does not exist.

RETURNING FROM DISABILITY LEAVE. It is agreed and understood that the School Board has no obligation to provide an employee returning from disability leave with a light duty assignment. It is further agreed that the School Board shall not remove an employee from disability leave for the reason that the employee is able to perform a light duty assignment when such assignment does not exist.

  • Disability Leave a. An employee who has suffered possible injury in the performance of assigned duties shall immediately undergo such medical examination as the appointing authority deems necessary. He/she shall not be considered absent from duty during the time required for such examination.

  • Disability Leave of Absence 1. A member incurring any disability not duty connected, after he has exhausted all of his paid leave to which he is entitled, will be entitled to a leave without pay for a period not to exceed six (6) months, subject to the following provisions:

  • Disability Leave with Pay (A) An employee who sustains a job-related disability and is eligible for disability leave with pay under the provisions of Rule 60L-34, Florida Administrative Code, shall be carried in full-pay status for up to 40 work hours immediately following the onset of the injury without being required to use accrued leave.
