Returning from Layoff. An employee returning to work on a regular, full time basis from layoff within thirty (30) months from date of layoff will be credited with all applicable seniority as though he had not been laid off, provided he has complied with Subsection 8.3, Reemployment, Article 8. In the event the Company elects to rehire within thirty (30) months from date of layoff, an employee who failed to comply with Subsection 8.3, Reemployment, will be credited with the unit seniority he had at the time of such layoff.
