Route Bidding Procedures. 15.3.1 Route bidding will occur twice during the 2021-22 school year with the first selection occurring in August and the second in October, as described below. On Wednesday, July 28, 2021, the District shall issue a notification of “bid posting dates” via District email. On Wednesday, August 4, 2021, the District shall post all routes with physical copies at the Transportation Office and sent via District email to all Drivers and Attendants at their District-issued email addresses. All routes shall be posted for a period of three (3) calendar days. On August 9, 2021, all Drivers and Attendants must bid on routes. Bidding will be based on seniority and Drivers must demonstrate proficiency; e.g., ability to handle wheelchairs, skills with different bus systems, prior to starting the run.
