BIDDING PROCEDURE. 1.1 Sealed bid, (formal and informal), subject to Instructions and General Conditions and any special conditions set forth herein, will be received in the office of the Purchasing Division, 440 So. 8th St., Lincoln, NE 68508, until the bid closing date and time indicated for furnishing Lancaster County, hereinafter referred to as “County”, the materials, supplies, equipment or services shown in the electronic bid request. 1.2 Bidders shall use the electronic bid system for submitting bids and must complete all required fields. If you do not care to bid, please respond to the bid request and note your reason. 1.3 Identify the item you will furnish by brand or manufacturer’s name and catalog numbers. Also furnish specifications and descriptive literature if not bidding the specific manufacturer or model as listed in the specifications. 1.4 Any person submitting a bid for a firm, corporation, or other organization must show evidence of his authority so to bind such firm, corporation, or organization. 1.5 Bids received after the time and date established for receiving bids will be rejected. 1.6 The Bidders and public are invited, but not required, to attend the formal opening of bids. At the opening, prices will be displayed electronically and/or read aloud to the public. The pricing is also available for immediate viewing on-line. No decisions related to an award of a contract or purchase order will be made at the opening.

BIDDING PROCEDURE. Each Bank shall, if in its sole discretion it elects to do so, irrevocably offer to make one or more Bid Loans to the Company as part of such proposed Bid Borrowing at a rate or rates of interest specified by such Bank in its sole discretion and determined by such Bank independently of each other Bank, by notifying by telephone confirmed in writing to the Agent at its Notice Office (which shall give prompt notice thereof to the Company), before 10:00 a.m., New York City time, on the date (the "Submission Deadline") that is (x) in the case of a proposed Absolute Rate Loan, the same day as the date of such proposed Bid Loan and (y) in the case of a proposed LIBOR Rate Loan, two Business Days before the date of such proposed Bid Loan. Each Bid shall be substantially in the form of Exhibit B (each a "Bid"), and shall specify in each case (i) the Loan Period, (ii) the minimum amount and maximum amount of each Bid Loan that such Bank would be willing to make as part of such proposed Bid Borrowing (which amounts may, subject to the proviso in Section 2.1, exceed such Bank's Commitment), (iii) the rate or rates of interest therefor and (iv) such Bank's lending office with respect to such Bid Loan; provided, that if the Agent in its capacity as a Bank shall, in its sole discretion, elect to make any such offer, it shall notify the Company of such offer before 8:30 a.m., New York City time, on the Submission Deadline.
BIDDING PROCEDURE. 1. A notice of all vacancies which shall be defined as a position previously held by a bargaining unit member who has resigned, retired, died or been terminated, or a newly created position will be posted on the bulletin board. The vacancy will be posted on the District website for five (5) business days before it is to be filled. Employees will be required to access the District website to bid on the vacancy during the five (5) day posting period. Once the five (5) day period has expired, bidding will be considered closed and bids will no longer be accepted. The district reserves the right to determine whether a vacancy shall be filled. If the District needs to have a position filled for more than sixty (60) calendar days in a school year it will be posted for bid. This provision shall not include positions that are vacant due to an employee’s approved leave of absence. 2. All regular AM, PM, Mid-Day, and After-School routes for Drivers and Aides shall be bid annually. All routes will be posted no less than 10 days prior to the start of school. All routes will be awarded no less than five days prior to the start of school. If any route cannot be posted ten (10) days prior to the start of school. The Union will be notified in writing as to the reason it couldn’t be posted and the date the route will be posted. 3. All eight (8) hour routes will be bid annually. The bid will contain the starting time of the route. The eight (8) hour driver may be parked for up to one (1) hour a day that will be considered lunch or idle time by the district. The one (1) hour may be divided into two (2) one-half (½) hour increments. 4. If a bus driver or aide’s route changes by fifteen (15) minutes or more on a regular basis, the employee is eligible to exercise their bumping rights. 5. All classifications shall be afforded the opportunity to bid on all vacant positions. The vacant position shall be awarded to the most senior bidder in the particular bid classification. If no particular classification employee(s) bid, it will be awarded to the most qualified senior employee in the bargaining unit.

BIDDING PROCEDURE. Construction Manager or its Affiliate, as the case may be, shall submit a sealed bid for Self-Performed Work pursuant to the procedures applicable to all Subcontractors in this Article 6; provided, however (a) Construction Manager shall nevertheless solicit Subcontractor bids for its proposed Self-Performed Work and (b) Construction Manager must publicly announce its, or its Affiliate’s, intent to submit a bid for such Work when it publishes those solicitation materials. Construction Manager or its Affiliate must also submit its bid for Self-Performed Work directly to Owner Parties in a sealed envelope in advance of the deadline for Subcontractors to submit their bids for that Work. Owner Parties shall manage the bidding process for Work that Construction Manager or its Affiliate proposes to Self-Perform, including the opening, review, and advice concerning award of, bids from potential Subcontractors. Construction Manager shall not participate in the analysis of such bids or recommend awarding the Subcontract for any Self-Performed Work. Construction Manager shall forward copies of all inquiries it receives for such Work from potential Subcontractors.
