SAFETY AND HOUSEKEEPING. PRASA operate stations within a strict railway operating environment with high commuter flow, particularly during operating peak periods. Safety of commuters is therefore a non-negotiable requirement and the following should be strictly complied with. The Service Provider shall submit a Health & Safety Plan, which will include Risk Assessment with proposed work method and request for approval for site access (for PRASA CRES’s approval). Only when approval is granted shall the Service Provider be granted access to the site for the duration of the contract. Good safety and housekeeping practices shall be entrenched in working methods and practices. Compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety Regulations as well as any such regulation prescribed by PRASA. It is the Service Provider’s responsibility to know and understand them properly. Regular and routine or ad-hoc inspections of compliance with safety and housekeeping shall be undertaken and all necessary correction actions immediately implemented.

SAFETY AND HOUSEKEEPING. 16.01 The Union agrees to co-operate with the management of the Company in its endeavour towards improved working conditions by such means as education of employees on safe working habits, increasing safety and obtaining good housekeeping in the said work.
SAFETY AND HOUSEKEEPING. Site safety is of primary concern and will be handled as outlined in Attachment 18. Transfer Station tunnels will be manually cleaned on a daily basis and washed down through the use of pressurized water. The purpose of the cleaning is to maintain scale accuracy and ensure debris does not accumulate and attract vectors or rodents. The sweeper is used on a daily basis to collect litter and debris. All loads entering or leaving the facility will be fully tarped or contained. Violation of the load covering policy could result in denial, subject to AUTHORITY approval, of future use of the facility Transfer trucks and trailers will be maintained on site in compliance with all applicable regulations. Transfer trucks and trailers will be rinsed off in the tunnels using the existing water system.

Roads and corridor right of ways and open areas may only be used with consent from the BPS Manager (or his or her designate) under the terms and conditions of a written agreement. The BPS Operator’s staff will make reasonable efforts to ensure safety and order within BPS, as well as monitoring compliance with these Rules. *Confidential Treatment Requested

Employees required by the Company to wear safety boots for use on the job shall be reimbursed to a maximum of $80 (effective as of June 21, 2003, $85; as of June 21, 2004, $90) per annum upon presentation of receipted bills for each purchase. In the case of probationary employees, the first such payment will be made upon completion of the probationary period and subsequent payments may be made as of the anniversary of the employee’s start date.

The publisher agrees to use available staffing in a safe and practical manner and to staff the press suitable to each run’s requirement. However, at no time will the press fail to start. Employees required by the Company to wear safety boots for use on the job shall be reimbursed to a maximum of $80 (effective as of June 21, 2003, $85; as of June 21, 2004, $90) each 2 years upon presentation of receipted bills for each purchase. In the case of probationary employees the first such payment will be made upon completion of the probationary period and subsequent payments may be made as of the anniversary of the employee’s start date in alternate years.

In the case of probationary employees, the first such payment will be made upon completion of the probationary period and subsequent payments may be made as of the anniversary of the employee’s start date.
