Salary Increase Upon Promotion. The phrase "at least five percent (5%)" in Section 2.44.210 of the Municipal Code is clarified to include the rounding (i.e., 4.5% or higher) to the nearest whole percent, within the established salary plan.
Salary Increase Upon Promotion. A. A promotion is defined as movement of an employee from a job classification to another job classification with a higher salary range. (Acting appointments are not considered promotions.)
Salary Increase Upon Promotion. An employee temporarily promoted to an acting rank pursuant to Article 10 shall receive an increase of ten percent (10%) during the period of the temporary promotion.
Salary Increase Upon Promotion. An employee promoted pursuant to Article 10 shall receive an increase of ten percent (10%) of their current base rate of pay.
Salary Increase Upon Promotion. An employee who is promoted from one class to a class in a higher range shall be entitled to the step in the higher range which will result in a salary increase of not less than one full step; the salary increase shall be equivalent to at least five percent (5%), but not more than the maximum rate for that class. The effective date of the promotion shall be the new anniversary date for the purpose of determining eligibility for step increases.
Salary Increase Upon Promotion. An employee promoted pursuant to Article 9 shall receive an increase of no less than fifteen (15) percent. A promotional increase can only be earned once per promotion to a classification for which an employee has already received a promotional increase.
