Promotion Increases. (a) Promotion salary increases shall be granted in an amount equal to 9.0% of the employee’s previous year’s base salary rate in recognition of promotion to one of the ranks described below:
(1). To Associate in , and Assistant University Librarian;
(2). To Associate Professor, Associate Scholar/Scientist/Engineer, and Associate University Librarian; and
Promotion Increases. (a) Promotion salary increases shall be granted in an amount equal to 9.0% of the employee’s previous year’s base salary rate in recognition of promotion to one of the ranks described below:
(1) To Associate in , and Assistant University Librarian;
(2) To Associate Professor, Associate Scholar/Scientist/Engineer, and Associate University Librarian; and
(3) To Professor, Scholar/Scientist/Engineer, and University Librarian.
(b) Promotion salary increases shall be effective on August 8, 20068, for promotion during 20067-078 and August 8, 20079 for promotion during 20078-089 and August 8, 200910, for the 200810-0911 year.
Promotion Increases. All eligible faculty who receive a promotion in faculty rank, effective for the 2019-2020 academic year, shall receive the following promotion increases: Promotion to Professor $4,000 Promotion to Associate Professor $3,000 Promotion to Assistant Professor $2,000 Promotion to Senior Lecturer $1,500
Promotion Increases. Effective at the beginning of the academic year in which their promotions are effective, employees shall be awarded promotion increases as follows:
(a) To Assistant University Librarian a eleven percent ( 11%) increase;
(b) To Senior Lecturer, Senior Instructor, Associate Scholar/Scientist/Engineer (Research Associate Professor), Associate University Librarian, or Associate Professor, a twelve percent (12%) increase;
(c) To University Lecturer, University Instructor, Scholar/Scientist/Engineer (Research Professor), University Librarian, or Professor, a fourteen percent (14%) increase.
Promotion Increases. A bargaining-unit member who receives a promotion utilizing the promotion procedures in this collective bargaining agreement shall receive the base-salary increase shown below, effective August 15 following the academic year in which the successful review takes place.
(1) A professor who is promoted will receive a base salary increase of 10% or an increase to a minimum of 85% of “median target salary” (for Associate Professors) or 82% (for Professors), whichever is greater.
(2) An Instructor who is promoted will receive a base salary increase of 10% or an increase to a minimum of 90% of “median target salary” (see Section 12.4(c)), whichever is greater.
Promotion Increases. Promoted employees receive a salary increase equal to the difference between the minimum salaries for their former level and the level to which they are to be promoted in the year before the promotion is effective. Promotion increases are calculated prior to calculating the salary increase provided for in section 10.1A of this agreement. Promotions become effective at the beginning of the academic year following the year the promotion review took place. If a member applies for promotion, in an extended contract after the published expiration date of the most recent contract, the promotion will not be paid until the new contract is ratified.
Promotion Increases. For those faculty members who have received a promotion effective in FY 18 or in subsequent fiscal years, a base pay increase will be granted as follows: Rank Change Promotion Amount Instructor to Assistant Professor $2500 Assistant to Associate Professor 9.25% of base salary Associate Professor to Full Professor 11.0% of base salary Lecturer to Senior Lecturer 9.0% of base salary, or $5500 whichever is higher Research Associate to 9.0% of base salary Research Assistant Professor
Promotion Increases. In the year of promotion in rank, a unit member shall receive a ten percent (10%) increase in current base salary, in addition to all other base salary adjustments. The increase in base salary shall be effective the first full pay period after July 1, following the unit member’s promotion. Any violations of the express provisions of this Article will be subject to the grievance process.
Promotion Increases. (b) Following ratification of this document, future pPromotion salary increases shall be 20 granted on August 8 following that promotion in an amount equal to 10.0% of the employee’s salary as of 21 August 7 in recognition of promotion to one of the ranks listed below:
