Common use of Salary Range Adjustments Clause in Contracts

Salary Range Adjustments. 11.1 Effective Fiscal Year 2017/2018 (October 1, 2017 thru September 30,2018), subject to funding, the Sheriff will provide all bargaining unit employees whose salary is funded by the Broward County Board of Commissioners with a pay increase of two and one-half percent (2.5%) of their base salary, i.e., excluding incentive, longevity, supplemental, assignment or any additional pay. Effective March 31, 2018, the Sheriff will provide all bargaining unit employees whose salary is funded by the Broward County Board of Commissioners with a pay increase of half of one percent (.5%) of their base salary, i.e., excluding incentive, longevity, supplemental, assignment or any additional pay. Effective Fiscal Year 2017/2018 (October 1, 2017 thru September 30, 2018), all bargaining unit employees in the Child Protective Investigations Section (CPIS) hired on or before October 1, 2017, will receive a one-time, non-recurring gross lump sum salary increase in the amount of three thousand-five hundred dollars ($3,500) effective pay date July 13, 2018. Effective Fiscal Year 2017/2018 (October 1, 2017 thru September 30, 2018), all bargaining unit employees in the Child Protective Investigations Section (CPIS) hired after October 1, 2017, will receive a one-time, non-recurring gross lump sum salary increase in the amount of fifteen hundred dollars ($1,500) effective pay date July 13, 2018.
