Common use of Salary Schedule Increment Credit Clause in Contracts

Salary Schedule Increment Credit. Salary increment credit for Extended Illness Leave shall be given up to a maximum of one year, but in no event extend beyond the year in which the Extended Illness Leave began. All other time on Unpaid Leaves (with the exception of Military Leave) shall not be counted as time toward salary increment increases. Provided, however, that any days worked prior to the commencement of the unpaid leave or upon return from the unpaid leave during a given school year shall be prorated as time worked in accordance with Article 8.
