Scheduling of Annual Vacation. Where employees require long-term notice of vacation schedules to plan and confirm travel arrangements, the Authority will endeavour to confirm the granting or denial of such vacation requests within ten (10) working days following its submission. 21.2 Full-time employees shall be compensated for the above holidays in the following manner:
(a) If the holiday falls on a regular working day and the employee is not required to work, the employee shall receive his/her normal basic pay for such day.
(b) If the holiday falls on the employee’s scheduled day off or during a vacation period, the employee may add one (1) day to his/her annual vacation or be given one (1) day off with pay at a mutually agreeable time.
