SCHOOL DAY FOR TEACHERS. The school day for teachers shall begin at 7:30 a.m. and end at 4:15 p.m. It should be understood that teachers’ meetings or other special assignments might prevent teachers from leaving at the before mentioned time. On the last day prior to a holiday, teachers may leave as soon as school closes, unless a special assignment would prevent such a departure.

SCHOOL DAY FOR TEACHERS. 62.01 Teachers shall not be required to be at the workplace prior to twenty (20) minutes before the instructional day begins and shall not be required to remain at the workplace for more than twenty (20) minutes after the end of the instructional day. 62.02 Article 62.01 does not preclude the right of the Education Entity, through its principals and authorized staff of the Regional Executive Director/Superintendent’s Office, from requiring teachers’ attendance beyond 20 minutes after the end of the instructional day, upon sufficient notice, at: (i) staff meetings (ii) parent-teacher conferences (iii) student-teacher conferences (iv) in-service programs pursuant to Article 25.05 (iii) (v) other activities and meetings related to Department of Education and Early Childhood Development mandated Programs and Student Services. (i) At the beginning of the school year and following consultation with teachers, the principal shall establish a staff meeting schedule. There shall normally be no more than two (2) staff meetings per month. Staff meetings shall conclude no later than ninety (90) minutes from the end of the instructional day. A portion or all of the time allocated for a staff meeting pursuant to 62.02(i) can be used for teachers to participate in professional collaborative practice discussion with their colleagues. (ii) Teachers may agree to a principal’s request to meet at other times during the school day instead of at the end of the instructional day. (iii) Staff meeting content shall be at the discretion of the Principal, however, teachers shall be entitled, to the extent reasonable, to place items for discussion on the agenda. Staff meetings may not be solely dedicated to teacher professional development. 62.04 Teachers are required to attend a reasonable number of meetings, pursuant to 62.02 (v) provided; (i) meetings occur at the end of the instructional day and shall conclude no later than ninety

  • Traveling Teachers Traveling teachers are those who are not assigned a dedicated classroom of their own due to limited space. If traveling is necessary within a subject area, traveling status should be rotated. In order to facilitate optimum conditions for instruction, traveling teachers should, to the greatest extent practicable, be provided the following: 1. A quiet, secure space that contains a desk and filing space; 2. Storage space within the classrooms used for instruction; 3. A designated bulletin board and/or chalk or white board in the classrooms used for instruction; 4. An appropriate cart to transfer materials; 5. Supplies needed for instruction to the same extent as other teachers and those unique to traveling teachers.

  • Itinerant Teachers Schedules of regularly assigned teachers who are assigned to and travel to more than one school or student home on a given day shall be arranged so that no teacher shall be required without his/her consent to engage in inter-school or inter-home (for home bound teachers) travel of more than thirty-five

  • How Much May I Contribute to a Xxxx XXX As a result of the Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act (“EGTRRA”) of 2001, the maximum dollar amount of annual contributions you may make to a Xxxx XXX is $5,500 for tax years beginning in 2013 with the potential for Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA) increases in $500 increments. However, these amounts are phased out or eliminated entirely if your adjusted gross income is over a certain level, as explained in more detail below.   • What Will Happen After We Receive Your Letter When we receive your letter, we must do two things:

  • File Management and Record Retention relating to CRF Eligible Persons or Households Grantee must maintain a separate file for every applicant, Eligible Person, or Household, regardless of whether the request was approved or denied. a. Contents of File: Each file must contain sufficient and legible documentation. Documents must be secured within the file and must be organized systematically.

  • School Year Teacher assignable time will be capped at 1200 hours per school year.

  • Mentor Teachers A. A Mentor Teacher shall be defined as a Master Teacher as identified in Section 1526 of the School Code and shall perform the duties of a Master Teacher as specified in the School Code and State Administrative Rules and Regulations. B. Each bargaining unit member in his/her first three (3) years in the classroom shall be assigned one or more Mentor Teacher(s) by the Administration. The Mentor Teacher shall be available to provide professional support, instruction and guidance. The purpose of the mentor assignment is to provide a peer who can offer assistance, resources and information in a collegial fashion. C. A Mentor Teacher shall be assigned in accordance with the following: 1. Participation as a Mentor Teacher shall be voluntary. 2. The Mentor Teacher assignment shall be for one (1) academic year subject to review. The appointment may be renewed in succeeding academic years. 3. Should either the Mentor Teacher or the Mentee present cause to dissolve the relationship, the administration will meet with the Mentor Teacher and the Mentee to determine an appropriate course of action. D. Upon request, the Administration may provide release time so the Mentor may work with the Mentee in his/her assignment during the regular work day. E. Mentees who are new to the profession shall be provided with a minimum of fifteen (15) days of professional development instruction during their first three (3) years of classroom teaching. F. Performance responsibilities of a Mentor Teacher may include but not be limited to: Work to establish a relationship with Mentee based on mutual trust, respect and collegiality; provide encouragement, support, guidance and feedback when needed; help Mentee feel welcome; take part in training to enhance teaching and mentoring skills; complete periodic evaluations of Mentor-Mentee program, as requested; contact mentees, minimally once a week, for formal or informal meetings; help Mentee learn about resources, procedures, curriculum, students' needs, building and district policies, regulations and schedules; promote a smooth transition between teacher training and the actual classroom setting; facilitate three-way conferences involving the Mentor, Mentee and Principal; provide opportunities for Mentee to observe the Mentor and other teachers; share new and alternative materials, methods and resources with Mentee; observe Mentee's teaching in a classroom setting; conduct pre and post observation conferences; and assist Mentee with goal setting.
