CONTRACTOR shall comply with the Community Benefit Plan (CBP) attached hereto as Exhibit “B”.
SCOPE OF SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED TO THE CITY. The CITY has employed the CONTRACTOR to provide processing for materials deliver by the City to their site. The City will deliver materials to the following Republic Services site: located at 000 XX 00xx Xxxxxxx, Xx Xxxxxxxxxx, XX 00000. Materials will be deliver by City Equipment or City contractor, by mixed load or clean load for yard waste: Vegetative Materials, Clean Wood, Storm Debris (Vegetative and Horticultural and Sumps Exceeding 24”) Bulk Materials, Construction & Demolition Debris, Source Separated Materials (ISS), and Street and Earth Debris. For the purpose of this contract, the definitions for materials contained in this section shall apply unless otherwise specifically stated. Bulk items include appliances, furniture, console televisions and other similar items. Construction and demolition debris means material generally considered to be not water soluble and non hazardous in nature, including but not limited to steel, glass, brick, concrete or asphalt roofing material. Trash includes all waste or refuse other than garbage, including but not limited to garden and lawn clippings and other waste, grass and other plant clippings, leaves, tree limbs and branches, palm fronds and similar matter. CONTRACTOR agrees that all non-processable, non-recyclable solid waste material shall be disposed at an approved Solid Waste Facility pursuant to the terms and conditions of Sun CONTRACTOR’s operating permits. Sun Recycling agrees and acknowledges that processable waste as defined in the current Solid Waste Disposal Service Agreement between Choice Environmental and City of Hallandale Beach shall be disposed of in accordance with the terms of that agreement except for diminimus amounts of processable waste. CONTRACTOR acknowledges that the CITY may propose an amendment to this Agreement in the event that a new Solid Waste Disposal Service Agreement is entered into and the City of Hallandale Beach enters into the Interlocal Agreement for the Resource Recovery System. That amendment shall include any additional terms or conditions required by those Agreements. In the event CONTRACTOR does not agree to the additional terms and conditions, the City shall have the option to terminate this Agreement upon thirty (30) days notice.
