Screensavers/Background Photos. Inappropriate media may not be used as a screensaver or background photo. Presence of guns, weapons, pornographic materials, inappropriate language, alcohol, drug, gang-related symbols or pictures will result in disciplinary actions.

Disciplinary consequences include, but are not limited to: warnings, detentions, suspension, parent phone calls and/or meetings. ➢ Though a student may keep her iPad secure through the use of a password, the school reserves the right to search her iPad. If something is in question in regards to her iPad usage and its contents, a student will be required to tell the teacher and/or administration her personal password so that the school may search her iPad.
Screensavers/Background PhotosStudents will not have the ability to customize their iPad’s screen background. Appropriate media will be used. Students are allowed to use screen-locking passcodes. However, care should be exercised if using passcodes. If a student enters incorrect passcodes three times, they should stop and ask the technology department for assistance. The iPad will be disabled if ten incorrect passcode attempts are entered and the iPad will have to be restored to factory settings with loss of personal data.

Screensavers/Background PhotosStudents will be required to use a photo of themselves as wallpaper for their screensaver and background photo for the school year. This is to help students and staff identify unattended or misplaced devices. Images of guns, weapons, pornographic materials, inappropriate language or dress, alcohol, drug, gang- related symbols or pictures or any image that conflicts with the teachings of the Catholic Church or practices of Valley Catholic School will result in disciplinary actions.
