Seasonal Restrictions. PURCHASER shall adhere to the following restrictions, unless otherwise approved in writing by STATE:
Seasonal Restrictions. During the summer months, management may limit the number of approved vacations and leaves for custodians to 25% of the custodial employees.
a. Management may approve summer vacations and leaves for custodians in excess of 25% depending on factors such as work load, availability of temps, skill levels of available workers, anticipated duration of absences, etc. Legitimate sick leave requests in excess of the 25% limit above will not be arbitrarily or capriciously denied.
b. Summer includes the period from the Friday before Memorial Day to the Thursday before Labor Day.
c. During the winter month’s management will approve paid time off based upon factors such as work load, availability of temps, skill levels of available workers, anticipated duration of absences, etc.
Seasonal Restrictions. To minimize take of nesting murrelets, eggs, and young in the old-growth redwood timber stands rated as higher habitat quality in Section 6.1.2.3.3 above, and in the stands of old-growth redwood timber known and documented to be occupied by murrelets at the time of ITP issuance, and which are authorized for harvest, the following restrictions apply: • Operations associated with falling (road construction, marking, layout construction, and falling) will occur outside the breeding season. • Operations associated with log removal (e.g., yarding, loading, and hauling) may take place at any time, except as follows: – Within 0.25 mile of MMCAs or other occupied habitat (and thus subject to review under the process provided in Section 6.1.2.3.2 above – As restricted by other HCP measures – Where restricted by other laws or regulations – Unsurveyed old-growth redwood stands in the lower quality habitat group are not subject to the seasonal restrictions in this section, except as provided in Sections 6.1.2.3.1 and 6.1.2.3.2
Seasonal Restrictions. Limitations imposed on the work which prohibit the Contractor from performing certain types of work during specific seasons of the year. SHOP DRAWINGS – Drawings, diagrams schedules, and other data prepared for the project by the Contractor, subcontractor, manufacturer or supplier to illustrate and/or install some portion of the work.
Seasonal Restrictions. This road may be particularly susceptible to the impact of frost/thaw. As a result, haulage should where possible be restricted to the period 01 April – 31 October but may be permissible from November – March providing the Council have been notified. Haulage operations should also comply with any seasonal restrictions set out in the harvesting/haulage contract/s. Driver Awareness: Drivers involved with timber haulage should be familiar with the nature of the road and should be in possession of this Timber Traffic Management Plan, prior to operating on this route. A duty of care and responsibility is expected from hauliers on the public road network. Both the haulier and timber buyer have a responsibility to comply with the Road Haulage of Round Timber Code of Practice and standard haulage practices.
Seasonal Restrictions. 1 ) During adverse weather conditions, stop and start orders would be issued to prevent rutting or excessive tracking of soil and deterioration of vegetation in the ROW area. Effectiveness: This measure will minimize any significant soil compaction or rutting. Such changes or alterations are within the responsibility and jurisdiction of another public agency and not the agency making the finding. Such changes can and should be adopted by such other agency. (See agency list at end of this section.) FACTS SUPPORTING THE FINDING: The potential for soil erosion is low due to the low amount of precipitation, the soil types present and the predominantly gentle slopes along the route. Erosion resulting from construction would be minimized by the placement of the route within or along the existing right of ways (ROW's) . These ROW areas provide a stabilized bench across slopes, thus reducing potential water erosion problems. The following mitigation measures contained in the final EIR would reduce soil losses and expedite soil stabilization and revegetation.
Seasonal Restrictions. Contractor shall work with the local office of the Oregon Department of Forestry (ODF) to determine and establish additional work requirements and controls that are a result of the fire restrictions in place at the time of construction.
