Paid and Unpaid Time Off. The Municipality will provide eligible employees with reasonable periods of paid time off in accordance with the accrual schedules for annual and sick leave. Additionally, employees will be eligible for specified periods of paid time off for military duty, court duty and bereavement leave for members of their immediate family. Temporary employees are not eligible for paid leave under any articles of this agreement. Under the conditions specified in this article, the Municipality may approve periods of unpaid time off to allow employees to meet personal, educational, family or medical needs.

The additional third holiday is New Year’s Day, the fourth additional is Independence Day and the fifth is Labor Day. Payment of Holiday Pay: Holiday pay, as provided in this Article, shall be paid eight (8) hours pay at straight time for active employees assigned to a five (5) day work packet. Active employees assigned to work a four (4) day work shift bid shall receive ten (10) hours pay at straight time. Work requirements for Eligibility: In order to be eligible to receive holiday pay as provided in this Article, an employee must work the last scheduled shift the days before and after the holiday and the holiday if scheduled. Work to be performed on Holidays will be offered by seniority. If there is not enough volunteers then the Company shall force in reverse seniority.

MFLCs are eligible to use scheduled PTO sixty (60) days after completion of their first 60 calendar days of an assignment. Eligible MFLCs may use available PTO for legally mandated paid sick leave purposes, where consistent with applicable state or local requirements.

  • Unpaid Time Off All accruals must be exhausted prior to taking unpaid time off (unless eligible for EIT access).

  • Other Unpaid Leaves 1. The Board will grant an unpaid leave for a period of up to one (1) year to a teacher for illness or disability, eldercare, extended or family illness. The teacher may request that his/her teaching position be reduced to a part-time position with the School Corporation during this leave. Upon the teacher’s return from said leave, the School Corporation will follow the guidelines set forth under A.5. above.

  • Paid Time Off The Executive shall be entitled to take paid time off in accordance with the Company’s applicable paid time off policy for executives, as may be in effect from time to time.

  • Unpaid Sick Leave The City Manager shall, upon the advice and recommendation of the City physician, grant unpaid sick leave for up to one (1) year upon application of any employee whose paid sick leave is exhausted. Any extension of such leave shall be subject to the Civil Service Board rules.

  • Items Returned Unpaid A written notice will be sent to you of transactions we are unable to process because of returned items. With respect to any item that you transmit to us for remote deposit that we credit to your account, in the event such item is dishonored, you authorize us to debit the amount of such item from your account.

  • Paid Time Off (PTO) Executive shall earn and accrue paid-time-off covering vacation and sick time benefits at the rate of twenty (20) days per year for employment periods of up to five years of service. The PTO accrual rate shall automatically increase by five (5) additional days for each additional 5 years of service up to maximum of thirty (30) days per year after 10 years of service. For example, after five years of service, the annual PTO accrual rate shall increase to twenty-five (25) days. Unused PTO shall carry over to the next year, but Executive shall cease accruing further PTO at any time Executive has accrued two times his annual accrual rate. Unused PTO days which are not in excess of two-times the annual accrual rate shall be paid in a cash lump sum payment promptly after Executive’s termination of employment.
