Section 10.8.3. 20 Normally, thirty (30) days after the posting the position will be filled.
Section 10.8.3. 7 An employee shall forfeit rights to reemployment as provided in Section 10.8, if the employee 8 does not accept the offer of reemployment within five (5) workdays and/or report for work 9 within eleven (11) workdays from date of offer.
Section 10.8.3. 2 Employees exercising their preferential seniority rights regarding shift selection may be 3 evaluated within thirty (30) working days by the District. Continuance in the new shift 4 assignment shall be subject to the evaluation, Articles V, VI, and/or XV, upon the request of 5 either party.
Section 10.8.3. 33 The returning employee will be assigned to the same position occupied immediately prior to the 34 leave of absence. If that position is not available, the returning employee will be assigned to a 35 position equivalent (similar) in duties and salary to that held prior to the leave of absence. The 36 replacement employee will be informed of the returning employee’s rights at the time of 37 posting. If a current classified employee was hired to fill the leave of absence position, that 38 employee will return to his/her previous position. If the position is not available, the employee 39 will be assigned to a similar position in pay and benefits as previously held.
Section 10.8.3. 45 Pay in the new classification will be Step One (1) of that classification. Incremental steps will 46 apply as per the current labor agreement. 47
Section 10.8.3. 25 Any position being filled by a substitute employee (or employees) which lasts longer than sixty
